Food Holiday Sushi

America has become a sushi-loving nation since sushi’s west coast expansion after World War II when it was considered a delicacy enjoyed mostly by celebrities and other movers and shakers. By the late 1970s sushi restaurants were booming throughout California and spreading throughout the country. Today, sushi has become an American staple for everything from dining out to dinner parties to cocktail happy hours. Its growing popularity in the last 25 years spurred the proliferation of restaurants nationwide including RA Sushi. In celebration of International Sushi Day, which is celebrated annually on June 18, RA Sushi is serving up a special offer for the big day.

Dine-in guests can celebrate their passion for sushi by indulging in a RA Sushi favorite, the Viva Las Vegas Roll. All day on June 18, International Sushi Day, the roll will be on a 2-for-1 special. The Viva Las Vegas Roll is rolled crab and cream cheese, lightly tempura battered and topped with spicy tuna, crab mix and sliced lotus root; finished with sweet eel sauce and green tempura bits.

RA Sushi is located in Glenview and Lombard.
