Momotaro’s sake program is among the most robust in the city with esteemed sake expert, Lindsay Ansai, at the helm. Much like the Beaujolais of the wine world, Namazakes are released in the spring and are the first and freshest offerings from a sake brewery. They are meant to be drank quickly to celebrate the ephemerality of the fleeting spring season.
