Malört Sushi is Launching on April Fool's Day in the West Loop

Jōtō Sushi in the West Loop is teaming up with Jeppson’s Malört for an April-only collaboration that leans all the way into the city’s most polarizing spirit.

Guests who dare to try this limited-time offering will receive two pieces of Jōtō’s signature dry-aged fish over a Malört sauce, alongside their choice of either a Malört / Genmaicha tea / sake craft cocktail or a canned Malört Spritz by Marz Brewing, all at an accessible price.

The Malört x Jōtō Menu: $22

• Malört Nigiri (2): Ora King Salmon finished with Malört XO (a savory Asian sauce)
• Choice of:
  • Genmai-Chaotic: Genmaicha-infused Malört, lemon, yuzu sake, simple, with a black lava salt and furikake rim - created by Jōtō’s Beverage Director Justin Fawell
  • Malört Spritz: A crisp, easy-drinking collaboration with Marz Brewing
