June Special Promotions at Red Fish Bleu Fish in Chicago’s Hyde Park

Red Fish Bleu Fish (5121 S. Harper, Chicago;) in Hyde Park offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, creative entrées and traditional deep fried specialties. Specialty cocktails, wine and beer selection and desserts round out the Red Fish Bleu Fish options. This month, there are special promotions going on at this casual restaurant.

Last May, Red Fish Bleu Fish’s sister restaurant, Porkchop, also moved to the same location for a “co-branded” dining experience. 

Celebrate National Lobster Day, Saturday June 15

Did you know that most lobsters travel over 100 miles a year? Well now they’ve made it all the way to Chicago’s Hyde Park. Saturday, June 15 is National Lobster Day, so treat yourself to a Maine Lobster Tail ($36) at Red Fish Bleu Fish.

Or tthe Mango Avocado Lobster Salad ($14) with fresh heirloom tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, and topped with a white balsamic dressing.

Among the street food fare, on National Lobster Day choose the featured Cheesy Cajun Lobster Fries (market price). It is an entrée that showcases a whole lobster, fried or grilled, served over thick, fresh cut fries and topped with cheese.

Or try the Build Your Own Seafood Boil (market price). Pick your mix of seafood, taste, spice level and side.

Red Fish Bleu Fish offers vegan and vegetarian options for those who prefer to stay on land. Try the Wild Mushroom Pea Risotto ($16) and the Citrus Quinoa Salad ($11).

At Red Fish Bleu Fish on National Catfish Day, the catfish with Seafood Jalea ($32) a Peruvian seafood medley featuring Catfish, Shrimp and Crawfish. If you prefer your catfish the more traditional way, enjoy a half-pound of fried catfish with house-cut fries, on special for $13.99.

Continuing Promotions in June

Throughout the month of June, enjoy the afternoon sunshine while enjoying Happy Hour at Red Fish Bleu Fish, Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. June’s Happy Hour special is a half dozen oysters on the half shell with a glass of rum punch for only $10. Outdoor tables will appear as soon as the weather is warm.

Porkchop’s Happy Hour, also from 4-6 p.m. on weekdays, features two tacos and a margarita for only $10.

Porkchop celebrates Fridays in June with Fish Fry Friday, featuring their signature Fish and Chips for just $13.
