Tuman’s Tap & Grill hosts Michigan’s Bell’s Brewery for an all-day tap takeover featuring rare/limited releases and Specialty Series beers. The lineup lists four dark ales, including the very rare Bourbon Barrel Aged Hell Hath No Fury; the rich and velvety Double Cream Stout from the brewery’s Specialty Series; Wild One Sour Ale a wild-fermented brown ale from the Specialty Series; and Black Note Stout (bottle), a limited release and one of the brewery’s most sought after stouts.
Light ales list Uberon, a strong, bourbon barrel-aged version of Oberon (Tuman’s Tap & Grill has secured one of two Uberon barrels in Chicagoland); Le Batteur a sour ale from the Specialty Series; and Boon Companion, a Specialty Series beer “dry hopped” with lemon verbena.
The beers will be tapped at 11 a.m. and the Bell’s crew will be on-hand from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for beer education and gear giveaways, including wearables. There is no cover charge to attend and beer prices range from $5-$12 each. Beers will be available until 2 a.m. (while supplies last). In addition to the seasonally-minded weekly-rotating food specials, which are on offer from 2-11 p.m. Sunday, Tuman’s offers beer-friendly Deviled Eggs during the Bell’s event ($5).
