In a city where there's something to do every night of the week, who waits until Friday night to get the weekend started? Rhyme Or Reason is making some changes this Fall. Along with their new seasonal menu, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday specials have been introduced.
Ever since Jerry's Sandwiches left Damen & Division, Rhyme Or Reason has tried to fill the hole with live music, and now, karaoke. This karaoke has a twist though — after choosing from their 15,000+ song collection, you can sing your heart out along with a DJ. The DJ, provided by the Treblemonsters, will play in between performers as well as put his or her own spin on all of your favorite jams.
Need some liquid courage before hitting the stage? Rhyme Or Reason has you covered all night long:
— Buy 2 get 1 Libations
— $13 Burger & Bulleit Bourbon Drink
Tip: Karaoke starts at 9pm every Wednesday
While this restaurant & music venue likes to have a mix of today's hits and 70s funk playing on the ROR stage, #ButYouPlayin' Thursdays are dedicated to bringing on only the grooviest, most far-out funk performers in Chicago. Some local favorites that have graced the stage recently are Chicago Loud 9, Jonathan Marks, Laura Burke, and Sam Trump. Head to ROR's website to see the full music calendar for the next upcoming weeks.
What you can expect:
— Live performances every week
— 1/2 off all Rosè bottles
— 1/2 off Rosè Fried Chicken Sliders
Friday: Bottomless Prosecco
Starting at 5pm on Fridays, ROR is offering BOTTOMLESS PROSECCO every Friday night. With the eats and bumping beats, you may just end up spending the whole night in the G-Spot Lounge playing a couple of life-size games of Connect Four.
The 411 on Prosecco:
— Order a dinner plate between 5-10pm and get your bubbly on for only $20
With all of their new weekly specials, it's safe to say that ROR is the place to be on WTF.
