Woodford Reserve and Old Forester Whiskey Tasting at Jerry's

Jerry's in Andersonville will hold a whiskey tasting on Thursday, August 24 with Woodford Reserve and Old Forester. Led by a spirits specialist from Breakthru Beverage and Jerry's very own Kentucky Colonel, Trey Elder, guests will receive complimentary samples and swag from the distilleries from 7-9 p.m.
Participants may purchase two once pours of the featured spirits, including Woodford Reserve Kentucky Rye Whiskey ($18), Old Forester Kentucky Bourbon ($7), Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select Bourbon ($18), Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon ($16) and Old Forester Statesman ($14), a special release for the upcoming film Kingsman: The Golden Circle. 

Trey Elder's bourbon-based cocktail, Kranky Old Forest, will also be sampled. The michelada-inspired libation is made with Old Forester bourbon and a host of local ingredients (Amaro Cinpatrazzo, Longbranch Bloody Mary Zinger, ChChCherry Bomb Co-op Hot Sauce, Metropolitan Krankshaft Kolsch). The price of a full drink is $10.

Jerry's in Andersonville is open Sunday-Wednesday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m.; Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
