Windy City Smokeout, the outdoor country music and BBQ festival, will not take place in Chicago this year due to COVID-19. While this was a difficult decision, the health and safety of the festival’s fans, artists, pitmasters and employees has always been the top priority and it is a necessary measure to keep everyone safe.

If the public health situation allows, Windy City Smokeout will return next year on July 9-11, 2021 outside of Chicago’s iconic United Center with the same headliners including GRAMMY-award winning Darius Rucker, 14-time GRAMMY-nominated and iHeartRadio Country Song of the Year winner Dierks Bentley and CMA New Artist of the Year Award recipient, Jon Pardi. That’s right; same parking lot, same party.

Festival passes for Windy City Smokeout 2020 year are valid for next year. For each ticket kept, the festival will make a donation to Feed Chicago, an organization that is dedicated to restoring restaurants and service workers to provide food, packaged safely and delivered with care, to heroes on the frontline as well as individuals and communities that are suffering from food insecurity throughout Chicago.
