White Oak Tavern & Inn has debuted their first ever lunch menu and hours, available Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. With a menu ranging from salads and sandwiches to large plates, all dishes incorporate ingredients sourced from regional farmers and food artisans, in line with the restaurant’s priority to celebrate and support local business and communities.

“We want our guests to walk into White Oak Tavern & Inn and immediately feel at home,” said Executive Chef Tom Van Lente. “We are opening our doors to those looking for a well-crafted lunch right in their own neighborhood. In developing our menu, we took a few favorites from our brunch and dinner, and added in some new, fresh dishes featuring seasonal ingredients.”

Inspired by the Midwest seasons, White Oak Tavern & Inn's lunch menu features:

Salads

All salads available with roasted chicken breast ($5)

Caprese Panzanella, tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, torn baguette ($10)

White Oak Cobb, bacon, soft-poached egg, avocado, tomato, croutons, ranch ($11)

Kale, grapefruit, walnuts, fresno vinaigrette, pecorino ($9)


Sandwiches

Choice of tavern fries, old boy potato chips, or mixed greens

Avocado Toast, feta, pickled red onion, arugula, cilantro, bacon ($10)

Pastrami, arugula, pickled fennel, dijonaise, rye ($13)

Tavern Club, roasted chicken, bacon, tomato, arugula, avocado spread, brioche ($13)

White Oak Burger, butterkase, smoked chili ketchup, aioli, pickles, tavern fries ($15)


Plates

Pesto Fettuccine, tomato, basil, pecorino, pine nuts ($18)

Smoked Fish Plate, greens, house pickles, cured egg yolk, herb crackers ($16)

Grilled Hanger Steak, chimichurri butter, shoestring potatoes ($21)

In addition, the restaurant is introducing an all day menu, which appeals to guests looking for a quick bite throughout the afternoon. The menu will be available during interim lunch and dinner hours, Tuesday – Saturday from 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. and includes:
