On February 28, Executive Chef Tom Van Lente will bring a much anticipated phenomenon to White Oak Tavern & Inn: Red Light Ramen by Chef Justin Carlisle of Ardent (Milwaukee, WI). Beginning at 7:30 pm, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Asian-inspired small bites made by Chef Sean Pharr of The Bristol and Chef Tom Van Lente before serving themselves a bowl of Chef Carlisle’s late night favorite Tonkotsu Ramen made with pork, scallion, mushroom, pickled wasabi greens, bamboo shoots, egg and nori.
To compliment the evening’s guest, Chef Tom Van Lente will prepare Miso Peanut Brittle Chicken Wings served with Bonito Ranchwhile Chef Sean Pharr will feature Fried Rice Croquette and Beef Belly with Fermented Rutabaga. Select beverages from White Oak Tavern & Inn will be on special throughout the evening, including: PBR ($3), Draft Beers ($5) and Batch Cocktails ($8).
