For the big game on Sunday, February 2nd, Recess is hosting a tailgate party. Guests can participate in a $40 all-game special that includes unlimited wings and select beers. 

Houndstooth Saloon 

Pre-game with Houndstooth at their annual Jersey Brunch. Wear your team's jersey to receive a gift card in the amount of your brunch bill. Houndstooth will offer brunch drink specials including $15 mimosa or bellini pitchers and $5 chambongs.


For the low-key sports fan, head to Funkenhausen in West Town to watch the game with the Southern-German cuisine and beer in boots without having to yell over the game sound. The Sunday special includes a Nashville Hot Schnitzel and a boot of Krombacher for $24.

The Globe Pub

Looking to get out to watch the big game this year? The Globe Pub (1934 West Irving Park Road) will have drink specials on Super Bowl Sunday including $20 bottomless Mimosas, $15 Bud, Miller, or Cantina Buckets, $8 Miller Lite Draft with a shot of Dulce Vida Tequila or Jack Daniels, and $1 Jello Shots.

The Fifty/50

Wicker Park sports bar The Fifty/50 (2047 W Division St) will have in-house specials and online ordering catering pickup food specials for the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2.
Guests wanting to experience the Super Bowl at the sports bar can purchase an optional $50 package that includes unlimited plates of The Fifty/50’s award-winning chicken wings, bottomless select craft beer buckets, and bottomless domestic beer buckets.
Guests must have at least four people at their table purchase the $50 wings and beer package for it to be valid. The package runs from 5:30pm until the end of the regulation of the Super Bowl.
The Fifty/50 will show the Super Bowl on its 29 flatscreen TVs with game sound.

Roots Handmade Pizza

All three Roots Handmade Pizza locations will feature dine-in pizza and craft draft beer specials and will also debut a new collaboration beer for the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2.   

Guests can buy any Roots Quad Cities-style malt crust pizza and receive a free a Roots Quad Cities-style malt crust pizza of equal of lesser value for free. This promotion is for dine-in only and is available from 5pm until close on Super Bowl Sunday at all three Roots locations.   

All draft beer 60oz pitchers will be half price on Super Bowl Sunday. All three Roots locations feature at least 18 draft beer lines pouring Midwestern craft drafts, and most of the beers are available by the pitcher. This promotion is for dine-in only and is available from open to close on Super Bowl Sunday at all three Roots locations.   Roots will show the Super Bowl at all three locations on all its TVs with game sound as well.   

Roots Beer Director and Certified Cicerone Laura McSay worked with Chicago’s Around The Bend Beer Co. brewers to create “Roots Tropic Biopic” – an easy drinking and crisp tropical pale ale brewed with Ekuanot, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops. This beer collaboration will make its debut on tap – and will be available as half-price pitchers – on Super Bowl Sunday at all three Roots locations.    

Around The Bend brewed 27 half barrels of “Roots Tropic Biopic” exclusively for Roots and The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group. Look for “Roots Tropic Biopic” to also be on tap at Utopian Tailgate, The Fifty/50, and 90th Meridian Kitchen & Bar in the coming weeks as well.

To initiate its first year of being open during the Super Bowl, Bandit (841 West Randolph Street) will offer the sound of the game being played on more than a dozen flat-screens throughout the 2,600-square-foot restaurant, drink specials like Coolers of Beer ($20) will be available, giving guests the option to choose six of any $6 beers on the menu. Game-day food like Bandit’s spicy Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders ($15), the Double Bandit Burger ($16), and Disco Waffle Fries ($15), topped with Bulgogi-braised short rib, Merkts sharp cheddar cheese, and kimchi will be available for purchase. 

Public House

Boasting a 30-foot video screen, Public House (400 N. State St.) will be hosting football fans on February 2. In addition to the big screen, the restaurant maintains a variety of viewing options, with an additional 27 TVs throughout the gastropub. Food and drink specials will also be available like a dozen Crispy Chicken Wings ($14), which can be requested in a variety of sauces like barbeque, spicy buffalo, and ‘unbearable,’ or covered in a house-made rub consisting of 40 different seasonings and smoked in-house. On Super Bowl Sunday, drink specials will be offered with $7 Tito’s cocktails and Mules, as well as $6 22 oz. Stadium Drafts.

The Graystone Tavern 

The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will host a "Buckets Party" for the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 2. While watching the game, patrons can also compete in Bozo Buckets for prizes while sipping on $15 buckets of domestic beer and noshing on $20 5-pound buckets of chicken wings (dine-in only). All guests can play a free football squares contest in which they can win a $100 gift card. The game will be broadcast on 9 TVs throughout the bar with sound on. 


Onward in Rogers Park will offer the Super Bowl on 6 flat screen televisions in the bar area. On special for game day, Onward will feature a $12 burger, beer and shot special along with $20 60-ounce pitchers of draft beer. Beer selections will include IPA's, lagers, pilsners, porters and stouts.


Parlay, the River North sports parlor on the first floor of Joy District, will host a Super Bowl Viewing Parting, broadcasting the big game with sound on 21 TVs ranging from 60-inches to 100-inches as well as one 200" projector screen. Guests can sip on $2 domestic bottles and $2 White Claw cans while being offered game day bites like Jumbo Chicken Wings (rubbed with a chili spice blend, smoked in-house and served with Sriracha buttermilk and gochujang BBQ sauce; $15), Fried Chicken Sliders (buttermilk marinated thigh served with spicy pickles and mustard barbeque sauce; $12), and Short Rib Pizza (braised beef short rib, brie caramelized onion, mozzarella, garlic oil, lemon arugula; $15).

The Rambler

Guests who visit The Rambler will be offered a $40 per person food and drink package from 5 p.m. to the final score. Food items will include wings, nacho bar, mac and cheese, fries, tots and more. Drinks will include import and domestic bottles, all draft beer and premium liquors. The Rambler will show the game with sound on 14 flat screen TVs.

The Robey 

The Lounge, The Robey’s second floor space, has recently added flatscreen TVs and a pool table.

The Robey will launch brand new daily happy hour specials in the Lounge on Super Bowl Sunday (February 2), detailed below:

ROOF on theWit

ROOF on theWit, the recently renovated rooftop bar and restaurant, is throwing a Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 2, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m. The Big Game on ROOF will feature a 160-inch screen, ensuring attendees can watch the entire game and commercials in high-def resolution, plus 10+ additional screens throughout the bar. Patrons will be offered a variety of chilled and customized cocktails dishes including Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Baked Chocolate Mousse and more, for indulging during the biggest game of the year. 


Offshore, 1000 E. Grand St., the World’s Largest Rooftop Bar, is celebrating Super Bowl LIV with specials running on Sunday, February 2 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Along with a 30 ft. projection screen for the best view of the game and halftime show, football fans will enjoy $35 Bottomless Mimosas; Bottomless Wings for $20 a person; Beef Brisket Nachos for $10 an order; and Mixed Buckets for $10, with choice of Modelo, Miller Light, and Sofia Rose. In addition, patrons can also enjoy Offshore’s Chicago Restaurant Week menu for $36 per person, with options including Pork Carnitas Deviled Eggs; Marinated Wagyu Flatiron Steak, Roasted Organic Faroe Island Salmon, and Warm Sugared Donut Holes. 

Kinton Ramen

Kinton Ramen, with two Chicago locations in West Loop and Wicker Park, is offering football fans a delivery deal for their watch parties. Available on Saturday, February 1 and Sunday, February 2, guests will receive a complimentary order of Original Karaage (fried chicken) with a minimum purchase of $20. Available exclusively on DoorDash, guests can redeem using discount code BIGGAME20. 

Columbus Tap 

Columbus Tap, a tap house located inside the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, 200 N Columbus Dr., will be hosting a party to watch the big game. Drawing from Chicago’s rich beer history, Columbus Tap offers varieties from several Chicago and Midwestern breweries — featuring a selection of 16 drafts on tap – as well as a lunch and dinner menu of shareable snacks, salads, sandwiches and main plates.

Lucky Strike Social Wrigleyville

Lucky Strike Social at Wrigleyville, located at 1027 W. Addison St., is gearing up for Superbowl Sunday by offering The Big Game Bundle on Sunday, February 2. The special bundle includes The Motherload of Wings, smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese Bites, two Bud Light Draft drink tickets, and two $15 game cards, for $50. Football fans must mention the special promotion in order to receive. The Superbowl Sunday Bundle is available in both Wrigleyville and Streeterville locations.

VU Rooftop Bar

VU Rooftop Bar is offering $5.40 cocktail specials throughout Superbowl Sunday, as well as a special Superbowl Sunday Brunch Package which includes options like Chicken & Waffles, Lobster Chilaquiles, and Crispy Surf Clams starting at $30 per person. 

Raised, An Urban Rooftop Bar

Raised, An Urban Rooftop Bar, 1 W. Wacker Drive, is offering Superbowl Sunday Nachos, which include Achiote braised pork, jalapeno cheese sauce, El Milagro chips, pico de gallo, and topped with pickled red onion, for $10. Fans will also have access to the full food and cocktail menus throughout the game.

Pennyville Station

Their Super Bowl Party will include a dinner buffet filled with Pennyville menu specialties, plus game-time items like wings, filet sliders, and more. $100 (paid at the door) tickets include buffet and open bar, with 25% of the proceeds donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Beginning at 4 p.m., nearly one dozen big-screens will be playing the action live.  For those looking to feed their guests at home with some game-day fare, catering will be available for pick-up at Pennyville Station from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 2. You can place orders for half or full pans of bites like:

Boxcar Betty's 

Boxcar Betty’s is a southern inspired fried chicken sandwich purveyor serving up sandwiches, salads and sides to the Windy City. The Custom Sandwich Bar features a variety of proteins from Fried Chicken to Pimento Cheese Stuffed Portobella Mushrooms, and toppings like homemade Peach Coleslaw and bacon jam. Also offering party platters serving 10 to 25 guests, fresh brewed sweet tea and dessert. 

Boxcar Betty’s only requires 24 hours advance notice for all catering, with pick-up and delivery options available.

WhirlyBall is offering a special to-go menu featuring chicken wings (40 for $35), sliders (10 for $25) and pizza ($15). This offering is available at all three WhirlyBall locations (Bucktown, Vernon Hills and Naperville). 


Boqueria is offering drop-off catering packages designed to share. The game-day catering menu includes classic tapas like Boqueria’s famed Dátiles con Beicon, Croquetas de Jamon and Pintxos Morunos or specialty sandwiches and Paella.  Boqueria is also offering free delivery for orders at a minimum of $100 and set up service for an additional $25.
