The Gage (24 S Michigan Ave) will be offering Oysters On The Half Shell with calamansi mignonette, cucumber & fresno pepper for $24.

Venteux

In honor of the briniest holiday of the year, Mag Mile brasserie and oyster bar, Venteux, is serving up East Coast oysters on the half shell for one dollar a piece Saturday, August 5th. Shucked fresh behind the restaurants raw bar from open to close, they pair with Venteux’s seafood towers, French fare and champagne collection.

Lure Fishbar

To celebrate National Oyster Day, Lure Fishbar is offering a mini dressed combo featuring one of each oyster on their menu for $12.

Truth Be Told

Truth Be Told offers a variety of oysters including east or west cost oysters with pickled beetroot and champagne mignonette (A la carte $4 each/Half dozen $21/Dozen $42).

The Smith

The Smith offers $4.00 oysters for diners to choose from a variety of oyster offerings. During Martini Hour, The Smith offers a half dozen oysters for $13.00 as well. 

El Che Steakhouse & Bar

El Che's signature Grilled Oyster features Smoked Onion Aioli, Bacon, and topped with crumbled Chips. On Monday-Friday from 5pm-6pm, guests can choose the Oysters on the Happy Hour menu available at the bar.

Bar Esmé

On the a la carte menu, indulge in Oysters available by the half or full dozen featuring Basil Puree, Mandarin Kumquat, and Basil. 

BLVD Steakhouse

To start the meal, BLVD’s oyster offerings with a golden balsamic mignonette and a house cocktail sauce from Culinary Director Joe Flamm.

The Press Room's happy hour includes $1 oysters.

Chicago Winery

Chef Andrew Graves' brunch menu includes oysters made with Chicago Winery rosé mignonette,and lemons.

Swift Tavern

On August 5 after the Cubs game, Swift Tavern is shucking for the chance to win big–for every 100 oysters sold that night, one ‘Golden Oyster’ will be shucked. If a Golden Oyster lands at your table, the bill is on the restaurant. Throughout the night, they will also offering $4 Select Draft Beers, $8 Select Wine, $8 Seasonal Cocktails, $1.50 oysters and more.

GT Prime

GT Prime offers a Seafood Tower featuring lobster, king crab, shrimp and oysters, but their new daily happy hour features one dozen oysters for $12, served with traditional accoutrements.

Le Select

Le Select introduced ‘L’Apero’ Happy Hour earlier this summer, which features $1.50 oysters in addition to other lite bites and French fare from 4:30-7pm every Monday-Thursday.

Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar Naperville

Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar hosts their Great American Oyster Day Party located at 8 West Gartner Road Suite 140 in Naperville. The festivities kick off at noon and run through 5:00 p.m. Oyster fans can select raw and steamed oyster specials along with beer and wine specials all day with live music featuring the Beach Bum Duo from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.. You can watch their shuckers in action at live shucking stations and gear up for giveaways. They will be nominating a new Oyster King and Queen - the current King’s record sits at 123 raw oysters eaten in one sitting, and the Queen's at 102 raw oysters in one sitting.

Ina Mae Tavern

With flavors coming straight from the Big Easy, guests can experience Ina Mae’s classic oysters that are topped with Creole butter, parmesan, and breadcrumbs ($21). Serving oysters with a NOLA-spin, guests can also order up Ina Mae’s Frenchman Street oysters which are served with crab mornay, tasso ham, spinach, parmesan, and breadcrumbs ($26), as well as their Surf-N-Turf oysters that are topped with Creole butter, beef short rib, scallions, parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs ($28). 

Mordecai

Mordecai offers fresh east and west coast oysters, shucked and served with Absinthe cocktail sauce, mignonette and a lemon wedge.

Taureaux Tavern

Taureaux Tavern's daily selection of fresh shucked oysters are served on ice with the classic condiments.

François Frankie

Fresh shucked oysters at Francois Frankie, Monday through Saturday every week, served with a plethora of sauces and fresh lemon.

Frontier

In honor of the holiday, Frontier will be hosting a special “Shuck, Sip, & Savor” happy hour between 1pm - 4pm where guests can choose from oyster and drink specials. For $39, guests will receive a dozen of Frontier’s oysters paired with a glass of rosé or beer. Drink offerings include $6 glasses of rosé and sparkling pours in addition to $6 select draft beer.
