Treat dad to brunch or dinner at AMK Kitchen Bar, a classic American eatery with creative takes on gastropub fare. The neighborhood establishment is serving brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Father’s Day weekend. Options include AMK Original Cocktails with favorites such as Biscuits & Gravy, Chicken and Waffles and Chilaquiles and Huevos for brunch, and the awe-inspiring AMK Classic Burger (double patty, horseradish Dijonnaise and fried pickles) and Nashville Hot Chicken (To. Die. For.). Don’t forget to order a side of their epic Macaroni & Cheese.

Join Downers Grove’s iconic Carlucci Restaurant as they celebrate six evenings of Father’s Day festivities from Monday, June 12 through Sunday, June 18. Everyone will get the chance to participate in a $10,000 putting competition. All dads who dine at Carlucci on Saturday June 17 or Sunday June 18 are automatically entered into the competition when they purchase an entrée. Before the big weekend, anyone over 21 can join the fun with a $15 entry fee (entry fee includes a drink and appetizer). The $10,000 goes to anyone who can to sink three 25-foot putts in a row on our putting surface. If there is more than one winner, they split the bounty! Good luck and feel free to bring your own putter! Even those who don’t sink their putts can feel good since 20% of ticket sales will go to the Chicago Chapter of First Tee, a nonprofit youth development organization focused on introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people.
Dad Has Swagger on Father’s Day Weekend at STK Chicago
STK Chicago, River North steakhouse, has a gift for Dad. From Friday June 16 through Sunday June 18, all dads will be treated to an STK original SWAG bag which includes items like the Famous STK signature rub! Dads can enjoy a dry aged steak (up to 32oz!) and pair it with a specialty cocktail (like the Not Your Daddy’s Manhattan – Bulleit Bourbon, Zinfandel Port, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Bitters) and more. Guests can also choose from a selection of seasonal items including chops, seafood, creative side dishes, decadent desserts and more.

Share Brunch or Dinner with Dad at Frankfort’s Dancing Marlin
Dancing Marlin, the New American restaurant that’s transforming South Side dining, is the place to sample and share American cuisine with Dad. Whether he likes to sample a variety of dishes, or order a meaty entrée all his own, Dads will feel like the King of the Castle. Dad’s Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and includes selections ranging from delectable Donuts to Biscuits & Gravy, Chicken & Waffles, Pork Roast Hash & Egg (braised Berkshire pork, wild mushrooms, cheddar potatoes, caramelized onions, fried egg), and the epically delicious DM Cheeseburger (half pound custom blend beef burger, American cheese, house cured pickles, caramelized onions, special mayo and bacon if Dad so desires). Enjoy The Marlin Mary Bar (Tito’s Vodka and all of the fixin’s for only $6), or go for Morning After (the Bloody Mary topped with bacon and an oyster for $9).
Dinner selections include a variety of choices, including Mac Daddy (a creamy blend of Hook’s cheddar, Wisconsin parmesan, gruyere & béchamelsauce and penne pasta noodles), classic Chateaubriand (a USDA prime 12 oz. filet, served for the table to share), a 16 oz. USDA Prime Center-Cut NY Strip Steak, and Seared Ahi Tuna (sesame seeds, bacon braised bok choy, avocado puree, pickled ginger, micro greens, wasabi vinaigrette).

The Lake County restaurant is serving cocoa-infused fare for brunch and dinner this Father’s Day. A special Father's Day Brunch will be served from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and includes cocoa-inspired entrees, carving station and classic brunch selections, as well as $5 craft cocktails and mimosas ($25 Adults, $8 children 6-10 and kids 5 and under are free).
Dinner is served from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and includes selections such as Cocoa-spiced Ribs and the Carni-four Burger – an amazingly big and delicious burgermade with four meats (USDA prime beef blended with cocoa-candied bacon, pulled pork, crispy pork belly) topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, mole mayo, avocado and served on a homemade brioche bun. And because every dad likes a sweet treat – fathers get a complimentary housemade chocolate of their choosing from the Sanctuary Chocolate Bar.
