Donnie Wahlberg, Paul Wahlberg and St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina broke ground Friday on the newest Wahlburgers location in St. Charles, Illinois. The casual dining burger concept founded by brothers Mark, Donnie and Chef Paul Wahlberg will feature its lineup of burgers, sandwiches, sides and specialty drinks from its scratch-made kitchen.
"We are so excited to bring Wahlburgers to St. Charles,” said Donnie Wahlberg. “It’s been a dream of mine to open a Wahlburgers in the community that Jenny and I have chosen to raise our family in. There is no better way to repay the people of St Charles, for welcoming us with open arms, than to give back”.
The approximately 5,000 square foot space will be located at 855 South Randall Road, St. Charles, IL in the Meijer shopping center on the southwest corner of Route 38 and Randall Road.
“We are thrilled that Wahlburgers chose to come to St. Charles,” said St. Charles Mayor Raymond Rogina. “We look forward to hosting their successful restaurant concept in our town.”
Following the groundbreaking, media and special guests enjoyed a chat with the Wahlberg brothers and Wahlburgers giveaways. Donnie made his way through the entire crowd of 500+ attendees taking selfies with fans and signing autographs.
