Latest update: Victory & Vice - an Immersive Sports Bar - Slated to Open Late August 2026 in West Loop
Victory & Vice - a new immersive sports bar from Machine Hospitality Group - is set to open late August 2026 at 318 N. Carpenter St. in Chicago’s West Loop.
Led by Brian Galati with Chireal Jordan of Machine Hospitality Group alongside hospitality veteran Josh Howe, Victory & Vice introduces a new kind of game day destination where sports drive the energy, food and cocktails anchor the table, and music carries the night forward.
Built for game days, party brunches, big wins, and celebrations that extend past the final whistle, Victory & Vice gives Chicago a new way to watch, gather, and let the moment build from kickoff to last call.
After two and a half years of planning, development, and assembling a team of hospitality veterans, Galati selected the West Loop as the home for the group’s newest vision.
“I’ve spent the last decade waiting for a moment like this, in a neighborhood like this, with a team like this,” Galati said. “We are ready to execute something very special.”
Guests can expect more than 30 screens throughout the venue, including a custom 17-foot by 10-foot viewing wall, an expansive island bar, high-top tables, custom booths, and a 1,000-plus-square-foot patio with multiple viewing screens.
Technology will further enhance the sports viewing experience through guest-facing tools that give fans more control over how they watch, listen, and gather.
From reserving a select screen through the venue’s custom mobile app with an option of listening to the dedicated game sound via the guests’ personal earbuds, Victory & Vice will showcase a truly immersive and custom sports watching experience.
Signature activations throughout the evening will be celebrated throughout the venue, creating a natural progression from sports viewing to celebration, music, food, cocktails, and late-night outings.
“People kept saying Chicago was missing a sports bar with real effort behind it, and that stuck with me,” Galati said. “This city deserves a place that treats game day with far more effort: better viewing, better sound, better food, better drinks, better energy. Our mission is to be that place.”
Victory & Vice will showcase American and global sports, from Bears game days and March Madness to Champions League, Formula 1, UFC, the Kentucky Derby, rivalry games, title fights, and major global sporting events.
The food menu will feature cracker-thin crust, square-cut, tavern-style pizza with classic and elevated toppings, alongside staples and reimagined sports bar favorites designed for sharing and gathering.
Signature offerings include Victory & Vice's housemade take on the Chicago Pizza Puff, as well as lighter fare and vegetarian options designed to appeal to a wide range of guests throughout the day and evening.
The beverage program - designed by the Machine Hospitality Group team - features signature cocktails, frozen drinks dubbed "Viceez," and interactive communal moments including custom Espresso Martini and Dirty Martini service designed for groups.
Cocktails are highlighted by offerings such as a Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Old Fashioned, a Pornstar Martini riff dubbed “Pretty In Pink,” and a Spicy Watermelon Margarita.
On weekends, guests can also expect a Chicago take on the Bloody Mary featuring an Italian beef-inspired bloody mix and a dehydrated giardiniera rim.
“At their best, sports and nightlife are built on the same instinct,” Howe said. “Anticipation. Excitement. Celebration. The desire to belong to something bigger than yourself. We are chasing a moment that feels bigger than just hospitality, and we cannot wait to share it with our city.”
