October is Vegetarian Month and Bar Chido in Downer's Grove has everyone covered with veg-filled appetizers and entrees.

Start with a cocktail and some light nibbles like the Elotes ($7) - grilled corn with Morita aioli, cotija cheese, and a spicy twist of Flamin' Hot Cheetos or Albondigas ($10) with chipotle tomato sauce and herb-whipped cheese served with rustic bread. 

For a vegged-out feast, dig into the Taco Salad ($13) featuring a mango pico, the Veggie Tacos ($12) featuring crispy cauliflower, zucchini, grilled corn, and queso fresco, or the Cauliflower Al Pastor ($18) featuring Al Pastor marinated cauliflower, Morita grilled pineapple, avocado salsa, and pepitas.
