Background file: Valentine’s Day “Beers for PAWS” at Tuman’s Tap & Grill
Tuman’s Tap & Grill and Hopewell Brewing partner up to host a Valentine’s Day benefit to support PAWS Chicago, the Midwest's largest no-kill shelter. Tuman’s will donate $1 from every Hopewell beer sold on Tuesday, February 14 to PAWS. Every donation goes directly to helping homeless animals and building a no-kill community. Featured beers include Long Shadows Winter IPA, a red-hued India Pale Ale that showcases a medley of piney and citrusy hops against a backdrop of toasty malts (7.5% ABV/$7 16-ounce draft); and Arrow of Time #3, a funky oak-aged Wild Ale fermented in oak with the brewery’s house mix-culture, then blended from Hopewell’s top barrels (6.2% ABV/$7 13.2-ounce draft). Tuman’s is open from 4 p.m.-midnight on Tuesday, February 14.
