Eataly Chicago

On Friday, February 10, guests can partake in Valentine’s-inspired bites, drinks, and experiences at this walk-around event. From 6-7:30pm and 7:30-9pm, ticketed guests will gain access to 10 tastings of premium bites (e.g. freshly-shucked oysters, Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, housemade pasticcini, and more), two glasses of regional Italian wine, a handcrafted cocktail from FEW Spirits, and exclusive experiences. Experiences include a build-your-own-cannoli station and photo wall. This event is taking place throughout the entire marketplace. Tickets are $59 per person.

The South Loop restaurant, led by Chef Alex Carnovale, offers five-course Paris-inspired menus that can be delivered throughout Chicago and the suburbs.

Enchanté menu - $179, serves 2

  • A grilled butternut squash spread over a spelt cracker studded with sesame, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds.
  • Next, romesco purée underneath a bed of kohlrabi, broccoli, and cauliflower finished in an olive vinaigrette and everything almond seasoning.
  • Mains: Buttery lobster fettuccine is followed by beef au Poivre with conserva-style mushrooms.
  • For dessert, a chocolate caramel whiskey tart.

Je t’aime menu (vegetarian) - $129, serves 2

TAO Chicago

In addition to offering its a la carte menu, TAO has created specials for the holiday. Available from Feb. 10-14, diners can also choose the following dishes:

  • Salmon Heart Pillow Seared salmon topped with chipotle sauce for a smokey kick and crispy heart shaped heart puffs, which are stuffed with a smoked avocado puree
  • Black Pepper Day Boat Scallops: Seared day boat scallops served with preserved yu choy and shitake mushrooms in a black pepper sauce—the beet pomegranate foam with a bright red pop of color

The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant

This Valentine’s Day, guests may choose from a special menu: from entrée and starter options like an 8-Ounce Prime Filet Mignon, Potato-Wrapped Halibut and Seared Diver Scallops to ending with Warm Chocolate Grand Marnier Souffle, Tableside Bananas Foster or Strawberry & Champagne Parfait. 


A special menu curated by Executive Chef Carlos Garza will be available on Friday, February 10 through Sunday, February 12 and Tuesday, February 14. Carnivale will also host a Cupid’s Brunch on Sunday, February 12 from 10 am – 2pm. The all-you-can-eat experience is $55 for adults and $25 for children ages 10 and under. Soda, coffee and tea included. Reservations to all of Carnivale’s colorful Valentine’s Day specials are available on Tock.


From February 14th to the 18th, 5 pm - 10 pm, Executive Chef Macku’s menu: a five-course prix-fixed menu featuring fresh lobster dumpling soup, susuki sashimi followed by spicy tuna tartare. The third course offers seasonal nigiri with the fourth course being cha soba. Dessert will be served as a green tea crème brûlée.

City Cruises Chicago

Couples can choose between Lunch or Dinner Cruises, each complete with live entertainment, a plated dinner with prepared entrees, along with views of the city. Patrons can opt to upgrade their packages to include a Glass of Champagne or Sparkling Wine, a Single Rose per couple and a guaranteed window seat. 

Thorn Restaurant and Lounge

Chef Nicholas Malloy has crafted a three-course prix-fixed menu. The first course offers a burrata caprese, followed by a surf and turf, finished with a raspberry chocolate flourless cake. All couples will also be treated to a champagne toast to celebrate their love. This exclusive dinner will be available Friday, Feb. 10th, and Saturday, Feb 11th, with live music from 7-10 pm on both nights. 

Oaken Bistro + Bar

On February 11 and 14, guests will be offered a 4-course Valentine’s Dinner for 2 featuring a mix of specialty menu offerings from Chef Alejandro including Sheep Milk Ricotta, Mussels, Sweet Butter Poached Langoustine, Orange Risotto, and much more. Guests will be provided a $25 food and beverage credit when booking the Forester Hotel’s Dining Package.

Fulton Market Kitchen

Executive Chef Jonathan Harootunian has developed a four course menu. For the first course, diners will have their choice of Steak Tartare or East Coast Oysters on the Half Shell served with a Passionfruit Mignonette. Parisian Dumplings will be on the menu for the second course, or a Maine Lobster & Wild Mushroom Vol u vent. For the main event, Chef is serving up diner’s choice of a Petite Filet served with a classic Bernaise, artichoke confit and fondant potatoes, or Amish Chicken served alongside grilled asparagus, a wild rice pudding and sherry jus. Art comes to the plate for the fourth and final course, as Chef will be offering guests their choice of ‘The Bleeding Heart’ Chococake with strawberry truffle or a Dreamsicle Pot de Creme featuring candied citrus. FMK’s special Valentine’s Day menu will be available for $110 per person, and reservations are available via OpenTable.

Replay Lincoln Park

Replay Lincoln Park, is celebrating Gal Pal love with a weeklong celebration Galentine’s Day. Beginning on Wednesday Feb. 8, Replay will host Galentine’s Psycho Bingo at 8 pm; followed by a Galentine’s Parks and Rec Trivia with Baig of Tricks beginning at 7 pm on Thursday, Feb. 9. Those looking for a Ladies Night are invited to check out Replay’s Ladies’ Night on Friday, Feb 10 with DJ Kite mixing up a Queens of Pop playlist throughout with the likes of Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Beyonce, Britney, Taylor Swift, and more. On Monday, Feb. 13 beginning at 6 pm, Replay will host a Galentine’s Day Barre class. For Valentine’s Day & Galentine’s Day:

On February 11 & February 12, Valentine's Day and Galentine's Day is being celebrate early with Scratchboard Kitchen's brunch offerings, including raspberry chocolate poptart, red velvet scone, and gluten-free chocolate cupcakes (offered the whole month of February). In addition, guests will be able to try out their new seasonal menu that offers brand-new cocktails, such as a Jamaican vacation (rum, orange, lemon, prosecco) and a new twist on grilled cheese with its umeboshi grilled cheese (plums, muenster, provolone). For Valentine’s Day:

On February 14 at 6:30 p.m., experience a virtual at-home cooking class hosted by Scratchboard Kitchen's executive chef Grace Goudie, who worked with chef Thomas Keller. Guests can pick up an ingredient kit and follow along with Chef Grace through three courses, including how to professionally plate her recipes. This is a live class, but written instructions will also be provided if you cannot join live. The menu includes beet & citrus salad, surf n' turf - flat iron steak & lobster tail, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Specials add-on offerings are a chamomile whiskey sour mixer kit (just add whiskey) and a caviar board. Ingredient kits can be picked up at 2:30 p.m. on February 11 and 12. The virtual class will take place live with Chef Grace at 6:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day (February 14). Ordering is now open until 3 p.m. on February 8 via Tock.

Justice of the Pies

Chicago’s, Maya Camille Broussard, is the chef behind the satellite bakery Justice of the Pies, and one of the stars of Netflix’s show Bake Squad. Every dessert she creates has a story of love behind it for this Valentine’s Day. Whether it be her nostalgic Petite S'mores Pie or Dark Chocolate Cherry Crumble Pie.

Maya-Camille’s pies can be purchased via GoldBelly and at local markets in Chicago. Her Justice of the Pies cookbook can be gifted too. 

The Signature Room at the 95th

Valentine's Day reservations are now available from 5 to 9:30PM and can be booked on OpenTable. The cost is $125 per person, not including tax and 20% gratuity. A reservation plus a $50 per person deposit is required. The four course menu includes:

Avli River North

Executive Chef Panos Chalikiopoulos has crafted a romantic dinner menu available on Tuesday, February 14th for $99 per couple, which includes a complimentary welcome glass of champagne. The dinner menu options include:

  • Agginares, which are grilled artichokes with caper relish, toasted bread crumbs, and thyme aioli.
  • Shrimp Souvlaki, grilled shrimp skewers with quinoa, roasted cherry tomatoes, olives, feta, and ladolemono sauce.
  • Mushroom Skioufichta, which is cretan pasta, sauteed mushrooms, and creamy kefalograviera cheese sauce.

The Graceful Ordinary

Wife-and-husband owners Megan and Chef Chris Curren of The Graceful Ordinary, the riverside restaurant in the outskirts of Chicago, is offering an experience this February as they will treat one pair to the very meal they had on their wedding day.

The seafood-focused iteration of Big Star is serving up a four-coursed meal for the whiskey-loving couple - The Pappy Van Winkle Dinner. Highlights include a Crudo Del Mar of oysters, crab legs, lobster, and shrimp served in a pineapple and paired with Pappy 12 year, and a dry aged Slagel Farms ribeye with Pappy’s Reserve 15 year. Chef Dylan Patel is preparing a 6-course trip around the Mediterranean. Bursting with dishes like oysters with grilled merguez sausage, roasted lamb chops with saffron rice, and octopus with labneh, winter citrus and ginger vinaigrette. Optional wine pairings available. Fulton Market’s gourmet butcher shop and market is offering a variety of to-go kits, featuring charcuterie plates, wine, and steaks for two (your choice of ribeye, filet, or NY strip). Prices vary and orders can be placed through Tock. 

The Whistler

The Whistler will host the premiere performance of a brand new quartet to coincide with the holiday. Treat your partner to the musical stylings of the local music scene with guitarist Brian Citro and Mai Sugimoto on the sax, while you sip on craft cocktails from the bar’s rotating drinks menu. 


Start your evening off with a few seafood selections from the raw bar and a complimentary glass of Moet Champagne before diving into the evening’s specials which includes a Bouillabaisse with salmon, shrimp, scallops, and lobster and a 22oz Dry Aged NY Strip for two served with a trio of sauces such as sauce Périgueux made with madeira wine and truffles. Cap off the night with a classic French dessert like Creme Brûlée and a pour of dessert wine.


Logan Square’s daytime cafe & salumeria Lardon is leaning into the sweeter side of things this Valentine’s Day. From Friday, February 10th through Tuesday, February 14th, Lardon’s pastry chef Olivia Sweets is offering her sweets boxes in the name of love. Each box includes an assortment of rich cherry chocolate ganache brownies, hand decorated vanilla bean shortbread cookies, and lightly dusted raspberry-almond liner cookies. Six piece boxes are available at $15, and 12 piece boxes are available for $30. Orders can be placed via Lardon’s website.

Maple & Ash

This Valentine’s Day, couples can kick off their evening over a bottle of bubbles selected from the restaurant’s list, while indulging in Chef Danny Grant’s Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower or selections of caviar sourced from across the globe. Along with a curation of hsteak and seafood dishes, including several large format options meant for lovebirds to share, guests can treat their significant other to the evening's exclusive special plate— a Risotto Frutti de Mare, featuring buttery Maine lobster, king crab, scallops and saffron emulsion. 

Pendry Chicago

This Valentine’s Day, Pendry Chicago is leaning into the romance of the season with their Stay & Skate package. On February 14th (and throughout the month), couples booking the package can select a romantic ice skating experience for two at Maggie Daley Park Skate Ribbon (with skate rental included), along with a one-night stay in a King or Queen guest room. The package also includes two warm, black cashmere blend scarves to keep cozy on the ice and throughout the adventures in Windy City, along with a $60 F&B credit to use at one of their dining destinations. Included in those dining experiences is Château Carbide, the 26th floor rooftop that has been transformed for the first time ever into a Winter Garden escape, fitted with chalet-inspired wooden lodges, personal fireplaces and seating. Guests can also select warm drinks by the fireplace at their ground-floor cocktail lounge Bar Pendry or do a Sunday Boozy Tea experience, pastries and espresso drinks at the floral-themed Venteux cafe, or French fare at the red velvet-covered Venteux brasserie.

Osteria Langhe

Guests can start their evening with a toast from Osteria Langhe’s selection of wines exclusive to the Piemonte region curated by experienced Wine Director Aldo Zaninotto before diving into a four-course prix fixe menu. With up to three options per course, the menu highlights signature dishes and traditional fare including the hearty Pansotti with crab, ricotta, pepper ragu and chives and the Coniglio, a prosciutto wrapped rabbit loin with pork belly, mushrooms, creamy polenta and Fontina Val d’Aosta cheese. For dessert, guests can select the Panna Cotta made with cherry red wine reduction, whole cherries, hazelnuts, and topped with a chocolate straw or an Eclair with white chocolate pastry cream, and garnished with pink chocolate crispy pearls.

Soif Wine Lounge

Guests can ease into the evening with a bottle (or two) from Soif’s wine selections that highlight grower Champagnes, pétillant naturals and other classics varietals. To pair with the vino, couples can select the shareable Raclette Fondue with apples and freshly-baked baguettes along with other signature small plates like Rare Tea Cellars Caviar served with creme fraiche and Aleppo dill potato chips, Escargot with beurre maitre d’hotel and more. Mordecai will be providing guests with the opportunity to celebrate love and friendship all weekend long through food & drink offerings.

Recess in Chicago’s West Loop offers a specially themed Valentine’s Day menu and events February 9 through February 14. Recess also plays host to Crush — a Valentine’s Day party. Entreés include Chef John Boudouvas specialties like his Ricotta Gnocchi, Arborio Risotto or his Pork Shank with garlic whipped potatoes, brussel sprouts, pancetta and a natural braising liquid. Nonnina serves up a Valentine’s Day menu from Chef John Boudouvas February 10 through February 14. Two choices kick off the meal for appetizers with either a Salad or Carpaccio with thinly sliced beef tenderloin, whipped truffle burrata, frisee, asparagus, parsnips, parmesan crostini and truffle honey. Duck is a standout from the four dishes offered as entreés — a roasted breast with beluga lentils, cauliflower, arugula and a slow cooked duck leg ragu. Bloom Plant Based Kitchen

Bloom Plant Based Kitchen offers up a 100% gluten free, plant based dinner for Valentine’s Day this year. Chef Rodolfo Cuadros has put together a three-course menu for your date. A Tartuffo Pizza Bianca kicks off the meal with a truffled sourdough flatbread topped with arugula, forest mushrooms, thyme, cashew pecorino and a drizzle of truffle vinaigrette. Gioia in West Loop is offering a set, three-course menu for $110 per person featuring a selection from its regular menu and specials for each course. The antipasto special is Aragosta, featuring lobster terrine, smoked cauliflower, Oscetra caviar, watercress and cured organic egg. For the pasta or secondo course, the specials include Tagliolini featuring squid ink tagliolini, crustacean and seafood medley with tomato Datterini sauce and artichokes, as well as Tonno Tonnato, a seared ahi tuna with creamy tonnato sauce and roasted baby winter vegetables. And the dolci special - Tonito al Cioccolato, a chocolate soufflé with pink grapefruit, Campari granita and Moscato mousse. There will be three available seating times at 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 PM, lasting for two hours each. Reservations can be made on Resy. 

LIVA at Chicago Winery

This Valentine’s Day, the experience includes a five-course dinner from Executive Chef Andrew Graves for $160 per person, plus specialty cocktails and Chicago Winery wine pairings for an additional $55. The menu will feature shareable plates, including Oysters on the Half Shell, Duo of Ribeye and Wild Mushroom Stuffed Eggplant Involtini. After dinner, guests can drift over to Chicago Winery’s Tasting Room for wine and chocolate. The tasting will be led by one of the wine educators, featuring four Chicago Winery wines, each paired with chocolate. This experience is an additional $49 per person. Rose Mary

Celebrate Valentine's Day at Jaleo Chicago with a special tasting menu for two at $125 per person featuring Spanish classics and Chef José Andrés signature dishes like the Caviar Cone with Osetra caviar, Ferran Adria liquid olives, Jamon Iberico, Head on Prawns with garlic and extra virgin olive oil, and Pan con Chocolate. This year, the tasting menu will run from February 10-14. 


Multiple courses of Pigtail's bites paired with cocktails and beverages for a tasting menu at $175 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity). Farm Bar Lakeview

Farm Bar Lakeview is offering a three-course meal this Valentine's Day weekend. Start your meal with a chef-picked Charcuterie board composed of Midwestern meats and cheese in preparation for the main course of Red Wine Braised Short Ribs served with creamy polenta, crispy shallots and pea tendrils. Finish the meal with a specialty Raspberry Donut Cheesecake. With an extensive and refined wine and cocktail menu, Farm Bar includes a number of beverage pairings for sipping with each course. A heart-shaped pizza will be offered by Bartoli’s Pizzeria, available all day on Tuesday, February 14. Bartoli’s in Roscoe Village and West Town will feature made-to-order heart-shaped pizzas available in tavern-style or their original deep dish. Available for pick-up or delivery, guests can call to order or visit online.

Central Park Bar

Central Park Bar will pour half-price glasses of wine all evening, and guests can snuggle up by the large stone fire pit, available for use weather permitting in their outdoor beer garden. For $20, guests can also order a glass of wine with a cheese plate from Logan Square specialty cheese shop, Beautiful Rind. Additional specials will include half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and $9 beer and shot combos.

Easy Bar

All beers (draft, bottle, can and, ciders and hard seltzer) will be on special for only $4 all evening. Mix and match beer and shot combos will be available for $9 each. Easy Bar will also provide all the supplies for guests to make DIY Valentine’s Day cards for someone special.

Guests can kick off the evening with happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring half-price on everything including cocktails like the draft Key Lime Daiquiri with Plantation Pineapple Rum, Keke Key Lime Liqueur, Giffard Banane and lime or the Espresso Martini with Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, Kahlua, Pau Maui Vodka and more.


On Valentine’s Day, the bartenders at Estelle’s will be ready to lend an ear as they invite Chicagoans to cozy up to the bar for their annual “Wine About Your Love Life” night. Half-price glasses of wine will be available for $6.50 each (normally $13) with selections including Beckstoffer '75 Wine Co. Evette’s in Lincoln Park has partnered with The Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach in Michigan to host a romantic pre-Valentine’s Day getaway on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 12. Located about 70 miles from Chicago, The Neighborhood Hotel will host several events including a four course Family-Style Dinner prepared by Evette’s chef/owner, Mitchell Jamra. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10 European Wine + Cheese Tasting

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11 Private Wine Tasting at Hickory Creek Winery

A quick 20-minute drive from the hotel, beginning at 1 p.m. guests will be provided a private tasting and wine education at Hickory Creek Winery led by owner and winemaker, Adam McBride.

BYOB Family Style Dinner with Chef Mitchell Jamra from Evette’s

At 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, Evette’s Chef/Owner Mitchell Jamra will prepare a four course meal in the common lounge of the hotel served family-style. Chef Jamra leans towards Mediterranean flavors while staying true to his Midwestern roots.


Remedy will host a winter art fair, “A Lover’s Market,” on Sunday, February 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can shop and sip as they browse items from over 10 local artists and vendors who will be selling crafts, handmade jewelry, food, plants, crystals, sculptures and more. The event is for guests who are 21 and over only.

On Tuesday, February 14, the bar offers a half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Seasonal half-price house cocktails include the Mast Bird with Junipero Gin, Flora Green, Luxardo and lime juice, the Express Less with Rhinehall Coffee liqueur, Ten to One Dark Rum, and a special house made holiday spice syrup, the Cam's Overalls with High West Bourbon, Giffard Rhubarb, Journey Old Country Goodness, lemon juice, and topped with ginger beer, and more.

The Owl

On Tuesday, February 14, The Owl in Logan Square will play classic rom-com movies all evening with DIY Valentine’s Day cards available. The Owl will supply all the materials to craft a card. The evening will kick off with half-price happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Draft beers will also be on special for $4 from open to close along with a Four Roses Old Fashioned shot special. The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

Geja's Cafe

By February 5th, guests can expect Geja’s to be classically decorated for the occasion and during the month of February.

Next is Geja’s Celebration of Marriage. On Monday, February 6th, married couples can take part in a tradition that’s been going on since the 90’s. Married couples will receive 1% of their bill for every year they’ve been married. 40 years? 40% off. 

Finally, Geja’s will be hosting three romantic seatings for Valentine’s Day dining on Tuesday, February 14th. Hinoki Sushiko

The outpost near Lincoln Yards offers a heart-shaped sushi platter, filled with a selection of Bluefin (Akami, Chutoro, and Otoro), Caviar, Uni, Dragofire rolls (shrimp tempura/baked salmon and escolar/spicy mayo/eel sauce/red and black tobiko/scallions), and Avocado Cucumber roll topped with whisky marinated Ikura. The platter will be offered as an add on to their nightly menu on Tuesday, February 14th

They will also offer a special Hibiscus Heart cocktail (Lychee puree, hibiscus reduction, haku vodka, champagne top) along with an n/a version of the drink. Sake for Two will also be available for $75, from a select list of top sake varieties. Reservations are now available online.

The Pilsen sushi outpost – which isn’t normally open on Tuesdays – is opening for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14th offering a sushi dinner for two for $50, which includes 2 drinks per person (choice of beer/wine/or “love potion” cocktail (grapefruit, peach snchapps, choice of vodka or mezcal). Additionally, they are doing their own take on the Sushi Heart, which can be tailored with your choice of three specialty rolls and 2 favorite rolls from the Sushi Hoshi menu, available for $40. Coda di Volpe’s Valentine’s Day menu is priced at $125/person and is available on Tuesday, February 14th.  Reservations are available via Resy.


Chef Teich will be presenting a tasting menu that will include Kaluga Caviar, Black Truffles, and Wagyu Beef. Everyone will be greeted with Champagne on arrival and receive a gift from Chef Teich on departure.

Tickets are priced at $395/person with optional Wine Pairings for $195. The menu will be available February 11th, 12th and 14th.  Reservations are available via Tock.

River Roast

River Roast (315 N. LaSalle St.) will celebrate Valentine's Day Saturday, Feb. 11 through Tuesdsay, Feb. 14, by featuring a la carte menu specials including a Strawberry Manhattan, Four Roses Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, Strawberry, Honey, Lemon; Berries & Cream, Stracciatella Cheese, Raspberry Compote, Crushed Pistachios, Aged Balsamic, EVOO, Grilled Sourdough; and Oscar Style Filet Mignon, 6oz Beef Filet, Lump Crab, Asparagus, Béarnaise Sauce.
