Urbanbelly Launches New Cuban Sandwich

Introducing Chef Bill Kim's latest addition at Urbanbelly: the Cuban Sandwich that is inspired by the flavors from his wife's Puerto Rican heritage and the fusion of Asian and Latin cuisines.

The sandwich lies the marriage of cultures. Pork marinated in Lola's lechon marinade—a tribute to Chef Kim's mother-in-law's recipe—infused with Latin spiced vinegar, garlic, cumin, and dark chili powder. This journey continues with layers of ham, cheese, and a curry mayo.

Chef Kim's vision extends to the accompanying tostones, prepared with a chimichurri sauce infused with Asian ingredients.
