Vivere, the contemporary concept inside Italian Village Restaurants, is hosting a special dinner celebrating the wines of Umbria. On Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 p.m., take a journey through the Umbrian region with winery Arnaldo Caprai.
The four-course menu will feature the following:
Smoked Halibut (Sweet and Spicy Peppers, Sunflower Seeds, Tropaeloum Leaves, Lemon Vinaigrette, Black Lava Salt)
Paired with Arnaldo Caprai “Grecante” Grechetto Colli Martani DOCG 2016
Strozzapreti (Braised Wild Boar, Roasted Cipollini Onions, Peas, Semi-Dry Tomato Cream Sauce)
Paired with Arnaldo Caprai Montefalco Rosso DOC 2014 or Arnaldo Caprai Montefalco Rosso Riserva DOC 2013
Seared Wagyu Ribeye (Purple Polenta, Hen of the woods, Plum Glaze)
Paired with Caprai “Collepiano” Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG 2011
Triple Cheesecake (White Truffle Cream, Blackberry Compote, Dark Chocolate Cocao Flakes)
Paired with Arnaldo Caprai “25 Anni” Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG 2012
Owner and winemaker, Marco Caprai, will also be on hand to guide you through each wine and the history of the Umbria region and the winery.
