Día de Los Muertos is the Mexican holiday that provides a time of celebration and remembrance of loved ones who have passed away. Tzuco is hosting a special dining event to mark the occasion on Tuesday, November 2nd. Chef Carlos Gaytan is welcoming two Mexican chefs to his kitchen with a menu that celebrates their heritage and the cultural importance of this meaningful holiday.

Chef Martha Ortiz Chapa of Mexico City’s Dulce Patria will bring her passion for Mexico’s history, cultural traditions and social reality to the menu. Local chef and Puebla, Mexico native Dudley Nieto, Director of Innovation for Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar, brings his three decades of industry experience in Mexican cuisine to the event, sharing a reflection of himself and of his culture.

Reservations for this collaborative dinner event are now available via resy, with availability starting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd. Guests will be offered a 4-course meal for $95 per person (includes a welcome cocktail, excludes tax and gratuity), with wine pairings available for an additional $45. Furthermore, Tzuco will be transformed for the holiday with traditional Dia de Los Muertos décor including marigold florals, candles, Catrinas (skulls) and more.
