Inside the story: Tzuco Celebrates Mexican Independence Day and Fourth Anniversary, September 15

On Friday, September 15th, Tzuco is celebrating Mexican Independence Day and the restaurant’s Fourth Anniversary at Cuatro Años, Cuatro Manos. This special evening includes a four-course tasting menu designed by Chef/Partner Carlos Gaytán alongside three guest chefs from Mexico including Fer Prado (Çuina, Mexico City), Angel Vázquez (Intro & Augurio, Puebla), and Thierry Blouet (Café des Artistes, Puerto Vallarta):

  • Chef Fer Prado is known for her innovation in pastry and was named the Best Pastry Chef 2022 by México Gastronómico.

  • Chef Angel Vázquez is known for his "chiles en nogada" preparation, a historic tribute to Mexico's Independence Day.

  • Chef Thierry Blouet is known worldwide for his French-Mexican heritage cooking.

Together, the foursome will honor both Tzuco’s four-year journey as each chef presents a signature dish. Monte Xanic will provide wine pairings while Celosa Tequila will lend cocktail selections.
