Al Fresco Dining West Loop

Celebrate the official start of summer and dine al fresco at two West Loop restaurants. 

Gaijin — Patio opened June 19. 

  • Features a walk-up window and patio cover
    • Walk-up window offering desserts like kakigori to go, savory bites such as mini okonomiyaki, and beverages like cans of highballs, beer & sake 
  • Reservations open today (6.19) at noon - here or by phone (312) 265-1348
  • Hours: Mon - Thurs 5pm-9pm, Fri & Sat 12pm-11pm, Sun 12pm-9pm

Nonna’s — Patio/Counter Service opened June 22 

  • Patio details - 6-8 two-top tables
    • Classics are back, including hot/cold sandwiches and salads.
  • Alongside the patio, a new menu is launching, including: 
    • Cold Sandwiches
      • Portabella - $13
        • Balsamic grilled mushroom, avocado, sun dried tomato, buffalo mozzarella, arugula, basil aioli
      • Yellow Tail - $11 
        • Yellow Tail salad, lettuce, avocado, cucumber, banana peppers, dill havarti cheese
    • Hot Sandwiches
      • Sausage - $12
        • Italian sausage, sweet peppers, provolone cheese, arugula, pickled red onions, giardiniera aioli
