Truth Be Told, English-inspired Tavern Opens at New Hotel, The Study at University of Chicago

Truth Be Told officially opens at The Study at University of Chicago with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Open daily from 7am – 10pm, Truth Be Told provides a dining experience for the college community and the surrounding Woodlawn neighborhood.   

Truth Be Told, with its wood ceiling beams, two-faced fireplace, and gem-toned accent chairs, will host hotel guests and outside patrons for hearty meals, pints and good lore. Featured menu items include soups and salads, oysters, and a unique take on British fare, such as Curried Deviled Eggs, Butter Lettuce Salad with British Stilton, Fish & Chips, Warm Roast Beef Sandwich with house-made gravy, and Lamb Shepherd’s Pie.
