Building on the success of last year’s beverage classes, Travelle Kitchen + Baronce again partners with Tenzing – a a Chicago-based wine and spirits company focused on education, customer service, and high-quality wine and spirits products – for a “Cellar Series.” The collaborative, informative events take place on Thursdays from October 26 – December 21 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the restaurant’s Cellar Room. The seminars offer tastings of the featured spirits paired with complementary light bites from Chef Ricardo Jarquin. The schedule is as follows:
October 26 “A Trip to Oaxaca (Mezcal)” led by DeJorn Huffman, Craft Spirits Expert
November 2 “Sake & Japanese Beer” led by Tony Palomino, Craft Spirits Expert
November 9 “Japanese Whisky” led by Tony Palomino, Craft Spirits Expert
November 16 “Beaujolais” led by Fernando Beteta, Master Sommelier
November 30 “Midwest Whiskies” led by Rob Krass, Journeyman Distillery VP of Sales
December 7 “Italian Reds” led by Fernando Beteta, Master Sommelier
December 14 “Holiday Cocktails 101” led by Marissa Huth, Craft Spirits Expert
December 21 “Holiday Bubbles” led by Lily Aurelie, Craft Spirits Expert
