On November 17, Travelle's Lead Mixologist Slava Borisov will teach guests how to spruce up their plant-inspired libations in honor of Fleurotica.
Garfield Park Conservatory’s signature fundraising event, Fleurotica, spotlights the talents of Chicago floral designers, landscape artists and students as they create garments made entirely from plants, flowers and natural materials. This year’s Fleurotica event, held on Tuesday, November 17, is a virtual “Sip + Rewind” event offering a retrospective look at the Fleurotica fashions from over the years, along with a virtual botanical cocktail class with Travelle at The Langham’s lead mixologist, Slava Borisov.
A $25 ticket includes this exclusive cocktail class with Slava Borisov as well as a slideshow presentation of Fleurotica events over the years. A recipe will be emailed to those who pre-register in advance of the event. Attendees will also receive a recording of the program after the event to watch again any time they choose. Proceeds from the virtual event directly benefit the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance and its mission to change lives through the power of nature.
