They're Back: Cocoa + Co.'s Giant Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches

Now that the winter is finally over, and warm weather is here, there is no better way to celebrate summertime in Chicago than with giant Oreo ice cream sandwiches from Cocoa + Co..

The Chicago gourmet chocolate café is bringing back its ice cream sandwich. 

Handmade in the store, each sandwich includes specialty ice cream from Homer's Ice Cream, "sweetened" veterans in the ice cream business, between two 3-inch Oreos splendidly paired with toppings to give it the perfect crunch. 

Flavors include: 

• Toffee Coffee: 

Coffee ice cream rolled in pecans 

• Vanilla Oreo: 

Vanilla ice cream rolled in crushed Oreos

• Peppermint:

Peppermint ice cream rolled in crushed peppermint

• Chocolate Chocolate Chip: 

Chocolate ice cream rolled in chocolate chunks
