The Sixth Presents Babes & Bourbon Whiskey 101 Class, Aug 13

Open to all Female-Identified Whiskey enthusiasts. Whether you are a seasoned home-bar veteran or a cocktail novice, this course will help participants build spirit knowledge and gain experience in the fundamentals of whiskey cocktail creations. Taught by one of The Fifty/50 Group's leading bartenders from The Fifty/50 Group, Nikki Allen (West Town Bakery & Tap, Apogee Lounge & Whiskey Guardian of Angel's Envy), this class will go over the distinct histories and profiles of whiskeys, and how to use them to build delicious cocktails. The first half of the evening will be a guided spirit tasting of Angel's Envy Bourbon finished in Port Barrels and Rye finished in Rum Casks. In the second half, each participant will have the opportunity to make multiple different cocktails under the guidance and instruction of our mixology expert. $60 general participation or $80 general participation + a set of bar tools to take home. Price does not include gratuity.
