The Secret Kitchen Launches Party Trays and Expanded Takeout in Schaumburg

The Secret Kitchen — The Indian Saga has expanded its takeout offerings with a new Party Tray menu designed for gatherings, corporate events and at-home dining. The Schaumburg restaurant is the first U.S. location of the international Modern Indian restaurant brand from Chef Aanal Kotak, which also operates locations in India, Australia and Canada.

The Party Trays are portioned to accommodate gatherings of up to 25 guests and feature dishes from the restaurant’s menu, including vegetarian selections, Halal meats, seafood, breads and rice. The expansion follows The Secret Kitchen’s Schaumburg opening earlier this year.

“Hosting should feel like an experience, not a chore. Every dish we send out carries the same research and craftsmanship as what we serve in the restaurant,” said Kotak. “My cooking is rooted in the meals my grandmothers made and in the deep historical research I've done into the feasts once enjoyed across India's royal courts. Now our guests can bring that same sense of occasion to their own tables, whether it's a family dinner, a game night, or a milestone celebration.”

Vegetarian Party Tray selections include TSKfied Paneer Butter Masala, Lehsuni Palak Paneer, Lucknowi Matka Paneer, Burrata Cheese Makhani, Bollywood Khoya Kaju Masala and TSK Dum Veg Biryani.

Meat and seafood options include TSKfied Butter Chicken — #Delhi Style, Nalli Gosht Ki Nihari, Chicken Chettinad, Kadhai Prawns Curry and Indian Fish Curry. Accompaniments include TSK Kulcha, Onion Garlic Naan, Cheese Chilli Naan, Lachcha Paratha and Tandoori Roti.

In addition to the Party Trays, the restaurant’s full menu is available for individual à la carte takeout orders. Items not included among the fixed Party Tray selections include Avocado Dahi Puri, Ragda Fondue Samosa Chaat, Parmesan Cheese Pav Bhaji and Thecha Paneer Tikka, along with lamb chops from the Mutton Rogan Josh.

Desserts available through the regular takeout menu include Gulab Jamun Flambé and Kesar Mango Rasmalai.

The new takeout program is intended for a range of occasions, from family meals and game nights to birthdays, office lunches and larger celebrations, and comes ahead of the fall and holiday entertaining season.
