Get ready for some fierce female culinary action. James Beard award-winning chefSarah Grueneberg of Monteverde Restaurant & Pastificio, sommelier Belinda Chang, Anna Posey of Michelin-starred Elske and more — are shaking up Sunday brunch atThe Publican, One Off Hospitality's modern-day American beer hall, during its brand new Sunday B.L.T. (Brunch. Ladies. Tunes.) series.
On the final Sunday of each month from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., members of the roster will contribute her own specialty B.L.T. - inspired recipes and other culinary creations to Publican Chef de Cuisine Sieger Bayer’s menu of brunch delights for the day. Guests will be offered an array of dishes and drinks set to curated soundtracks from the leading ladies, featuring their favorite jams from female artists like Gwen Stefani, Cardi B, Cher and more.
From takes on the B.L.T. to cocktails inspired by the classic, the series will highlight the creativity and skills of a different chef, sommelier or bartender as their creations join the Fulton Market eatery's brunch menu. Each installment of "Sunday B.L.T" will include a playlist featuring the visiting women's favorite girl-powered anthems including everything from retro rocker chicks and divas to the girl groups of today. The best part? $1 of each B.L.T - inspired dish or cocktail purchased will be donated to the guest hospitality pro's charity of choice.

ROCK GODDESSES: Anna Posey — (April 29th) Winner of the Jean Banchet Award for “Pastry Chef of the Year” in 2018, the alumna of The Publican and current co-owner of Michelin-starred Elske brings her pastry skills back to her old stomping grounds along with a soundtrack of tunes featuring Stevie Nicks and Mariah Carey.
POP IDOLS: Erika Chan and Nicole Guini — (May 26th) One Off Hospitality group’s pastry chefs, Erika Chan, executive pastry chef of The Publican and Publican Quality Meats and Nicole Guini, pastry chef of Blackbird and avec and recipient of 2019’s Jean Banchet Award for “Pastry Chef of the Year,” join forces to present a playlist featuring old school Gwen Stefani, P!nk and The Spice Girls.
HIP-HOP LEGENDS: Jennifer Kim — (June 30th) Chef / Owner of Korean hotspot Passerotto in Andersonville, Eater Chicago’s “Chef of the Year 2018” and Jean Banchet “Rising Star Chef” winner in 2017, Jennifer Kim gets in on the action with song selections from her favorites from Beyoncé, Janelle Monae and Cardi B.
