At a glance: The Langham, Chicago Launches Bartender in Residence Program

On Thursday, May 28, The Langham, Chicago launched its new Bartender in Residence program, a first‑of‑its‑kind initiative celebrating cocktail innovators in the Windy City, with a Lemon Chicago Cocktail Bar pop-up at the hotel’s Travelle Lounge.

Fusing the hotel’s hospitality with the bar’s beverage program, the event featured an exclusive cocktail menu crafted by Lemon’s general manager mixologist Jeremy Barrett.

As an extension of the collaboration, one of Barrett’s creations – Babe the Blue Ox – will remain on Travelle’s menu until June 30. Bourbon-forward and layered with notes of warm spice, dark fruit and earthy sweetness, this stirred cocktail is made with Old Forester, Pasubio Amaro, maple syrup, blueberry liqueur and black walnut bitters.
