Movies on the Terrace
The hotel offers Movies on the Terrace to celebrate rooftop season in Chicago with craft cocktails, enhanced concession offerings featuring house-made treats and classics on the Terrace the second Tuesday of each month. Films start at 8PM.

Glamping
The hotel also offers the an urban glamping experience, residing on the private terrace of the Gwen Lux Suite. Perched on the 16th floor, the Gwen Lux Suite’s terrace encompasses over 1,000 square feet of open-air real estate with views of Michigan Avenue and some of the city’s architecture. As part of the Glamping Experience, guests will have the chance to spend the night under the stars with special amenities throughout their stay.

The Helios cocktail is the city's most expensive Sazerac cocktail, retailing at $1,250 (inclusive of gratuity and tax). This cocktail features Hennessy Paradis Imperial, Whistle Pig Boss Hog LapuLapu, Jade 1801 absinthe, coffee & orange compressed sugar, Peychaud's and angostura bitters. The table side presentation showcases the technique and a few surprises. You'll even walk away with a gift.
Helios is a Greek deity that adorns the Mcgraw-Hill building and was sculpted by Gwen Lux. Helios is the first of their Greco Deco luxury cocktail menu but will soon be followed by the other two Greek deities that adorn the building.
