The Village of Bloomingdale has announced the first wave of restaurant tenants coming to The Grove at Bloomingdale, the Village's transformative $375 million mixed-use development currently under construction. Joining the project are Game On!, GIA MIA, Hacienda Real, a new contemporary Greek restaurant from Forte Hospitality Group and Loretta’s Last Call. Each venue will bring a distinct culinary experience that will help establish The Grove as Bloomingdale's destination for dining, entertainment and community gathering.

These additions reflect The Grove’s vision of creating a walkable destination where residents and visitors can gather to enjoy a diverse mix of culinary experiences. From neighborhood pizza nights and contemporary Mexican cuisine to Greek hospitality, sports entertainment, country-inspired nightlife and elevated dining experiences, the five restaurants will offer something for every occasion while further establishing The Grove as a regional destination for hospitality, entertainment and connection.

“The Grove represents the next chapter in Bloomingdale’s growth, a place where families, friends and visitors can come together to live, dine, shop and celebrate,” said Bloomingdale Mayor Franco Coladipietro. “These new restaurants reflect the kind of vibrant, high-quality experiences we envisioned for this development, and we’re excited to see them become part of what will be a truly dynamic destination for our community.”

The restaurant announcements build upon the continued momentum of The Grove, which will feature a curated mix of dining, shopping, entertainment and residential offerings centered around public gathering spaces. Upon completion, the development will include a scenic lake with water features, a central event lawn that converts into a seasonal ice rink, approximately 300 luxury apartments, walkable streetscapes and year-round programming designed to bring the community together.

Game On!

Game On! brings a sports entertainment experience to The Grove, combining the atmosphere of a neighborhood sports bar with an immersive destination built for fans. The Bloomingdale location will be Game On’s second location and its first outside of Boston, joining its original location inside Boston’s Fenway Park. Designed as a dedicated destination for Chicago sports fans, the concept will feature a sports-themed environment that celebrates the city’s teams and gives fans a place to catch any game, cheer on their favorite teams and gather with friends and family.

Guests can expect more than 50 TVs throughout the space, with game audio, making Game On! an ideal destination for watching major sporting events. The venue will also host watch parties for major games and events throughout the year, including the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby and other marquee sporting events.

Beyond watching the action, Game On! will feature interactive entertainment including Pop-A-Shot and billiards, alongside classic game-day fare, cocktails and ice-cold beer. With its combination of sports, food, drinks and interactive entertainment, Game On! will offer a destination for everything from catching the big game to casual gatherings with friends.

GIA MIA

GIA MIA is known for its chef-driven approach to modern Italian dining, GIA MIA features Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas, fresh pastas, small plates, handmade mozzarella and a curated selection of wine, craft beer and cocktails. The Bloomingdale restaurant will continue the brand’s focus on approachable food, hospitality and creating a place where the community can gather.

“Bloomingdale feels like a natural next step for GIA MIA,” said Brian Goewey, Founder and President of BG Hospitality Group. “We’ve built this brand around being part of the communities we serve, and The Grove is being designed with that same sense of connection in mind. We’re excited to be part of what is taking shape there and to introduce GIA MIA to the Bloomingdale community.”

GIA MIA first opened in downtown Wheaton in 2015 and has since expanded throughout Chicago’s western suburbs, with locations in Geneva, Wheaton, Elmhurst, St. Charles, Downers Grove, Naperville, Lombard and Bolingbrook. The Bloomingdale restaurant represents another step in the brand’s continued growth while maintaining the neighborhood-driven identity that has defined GIA MIA from the beginning.

Hacienda Real

Hacienda Real is a contemporary Mexican restaurant concept that celebrates the culinary traditions of Mexico through a fresh, modern approach to hospitality, design and dining. Known for its atmosphere, elevated food and beverage program and warm service, the concept creates welcoming spaces where guests can gather, celebrate and connect over Mexican cuisine.

Each Hacienda Real location is intentionally designed to reflect the character of its surrounding community while maintaining a consistent commitment to quality, authenticity and hospitality. While the Bloomingdale location will share the brand’s signature approach, specific design elements and menu offerings will be announced at a later date.

Hacienda Real is part of Arechiga Restaurant Group, a family-owned hospitality company with a portfolio of Mexican dining concepts throughout Illinois and Indiana. Hacienda Real serves as the group’s flagship contemporary Mexican brand, blending traditional flavors with modern culinary techniques and handcrafted cocktails.

Contemporary Greek Restaurant by Forte Hospitality Group

Forte Hospitality Group, the restaurant group behind several independent dining destinations throughout the Chicago area, will bring a new contemporary Greek restaurant to The Grove at Bloomingdale. While the restaurant's name will be announced at a later date, the concept will bring authentic Mediterranean flavors, elevated hospitality and dining experience to the development.

Led by hospitality entrepreneur Kosti Demos, Forte Hospitality Group has built a reputation for chef-driven restaurants that pair cuisine with designed spaces. The group's portfolio includes Sapori Trattoria, Butcher & the Bear and Ithaki Estiatorio in Chicago's historic Greektown.

The Bloomingdale concept will celebrate the flavors and traditions of Greece through pristine seafood, premium meats, fresh Mediterranean ingredients, handcrafted cocktails and an approachable wine program. Designed as a gathering place for everyday dining and special occasions alike, the restaurant will feature a contemporary Mediterranean-inspired interior, an inviting bar, spacious dining room and accommodations for private events.

Loretta’s Last Call

Making its Illinois debut, Loretta’s Last Call will bring a taste of Nashville and the spirit of Southern hospitality to The Grove at Bloomingdale with a combination of dining, live entertainment and country-inspired nightlife. The Bloomingdale location will join Loretta’s original Boston location, bringing the brand’s signature country experience to the Midwest for the first time. Designed as a full night out, Loretta’s welcomes everyone from lifelong country fans to guests simply looking for something different.

Guests can expect to feel transported to the heart of Nashville, with a country-inspired atmosphere featuring a dedicated stage, live entertainment and signature mason jar cocktails. Weekly live entertainment will feature local artists as well as performers traveling from Nashville and beyond, while line dancing will take place every Sunday and Wednesday, welcoming both experienced dancers and first-timers.

The menu will feature high-quality food and beverage offerings, including their signature hot and crispy chicken, live music, dancing and Southern hospitality.
