The Graduate Homestead Room, located within Graduate Evanston in Chicago’s North Shore, haslaunched arefreshed menu from newly appointed Executive Chef Edgar Coronado and mixologist Bad Birdy.
The new menu offers takes on dishes like Salmon Rillettes with chips, herbs, and endive; Braised Lamb Shank served with a warm lentil salad and root vegetables; and Cacio e Pepe Gnocchi made with Pecorino Romano and black pepper.
Bad Birdy’s cocktail menu is inspired by Chicago filmmaker John Hughes, who set many of his films in the surrounding area. Highlights include the Don’t You Forget About Me, named for the song played at the end of “The Breakfast Club”; Planes, Trains, & Automobiles, Bad Birdy’s inspired take on the Paper Plane cocktail; and Save Ferris made withBahnez mezcal, green chartreuse, falernum, pineapple, coconut cloud and nutmeg.
