On Thursday, September 14th, The Florentine (JW Marriott - 151 W Adams St) will host a Pahlmeyer Wine Dinner from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. 

The special wine dinner will consist of a six-course dinner with wine pairings. The menu includes:

Course 1: Heirloom Tomato and Ancient Melon 'Caprese' with triple 'creme' cheese cremeux, orange olive oil vinaigrette and white balsamic
Paired with J Cuvee

Course 2: Pistachio Risotto - pickled cherries and lemon gel
Paired with Sauvignon Blanc

Course 3: Calabrian Roasted Maine Lobster - on-the-vine tomatoes, watercress and burnt lemon
Paired with Rosé

Course 4: Blood Orange Duck à l'Orange - black truffle duck leg rillette pressie and vanilla endive 
Paired with Pinot Noir

Course 5: 48-Day Dry-Aged New York Strip - royal trumpet mushroom, cippolini onion caramel and oxtail bordelaise
Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon

Dessert: Buttermilk Panna Cotta Affogato - vanilla-orange scented, fiore di latte, tableside espresso 
Paired with CH Distillery Amaro
