The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group just launched its Food Drive Raffle where people can buy tickets to win virtual happy hour experiences with celebrities, rare bourbon, restaurant experiences, and more where all ticket sales will go towards continuing to feed those in need.

The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group has produced over 25,000 meals to help feed those in need via various charity initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic since March 25. The money raised from Food Drive Raffle will continue those initiatives to feed those in need. Raffle tickets start at $20 (which will provide two meals for those in need), and the raffle ends at 11pm CST on Tuesday, May 12.

Winners of each prize will be chosen via an online random winner selector, and winners will be notified on May 13. Must be 21+ to buy raffle tickets. All raffle tickets must be purchased at https://rafflecreator.com/pages/37387/the-fifty50-groups-food-drive-raffle and that website also lists all the prizes.

People can win virtual video happy hours with former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Cubs co-owner Tom Ricketts, and ESPN’s Sarah Spain and friends. Each of the virtual video happy hours experiences allow the winner to invite up to five virtual guests of their choosing.

People can also win a quart of a very rare 1973 Old Fitzgerald's 1849 8 Year bourbon produced at Stitzel-Weller Distillery (valued at $1,500), two bottles of Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year Lot "B" bourbon (valued at $1,200 each), and a six-month whole bean Dark Matter Coffee subscription (valued at $120).

People can also win the following in-person experiences at The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group properties that can be redeemed post-pandemic:

* A night out at Utopian Tailgate with The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group co-owners Greg Mohr and Scott Weiner for four people (valued “priceless”)

* A “Ladies' Night” at Homestead On The Roof with dinner for four people and a bottle of Jordan Chardonnay and Jordan Cabernet (valued at $500)

Again, all money raised from the charity raffle will go toward providing meals to those in need that will go toward covering food cost and kitchen labor to produce the meals.

About 19,000 of those 25,000+ meals for those in need have been produced so far for The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group food drives at The Fifty/50 sports bar and West Town Bakery & Diner.

On March 25, The Fifty/50 sports bar (2047 W Division St) launched an initiative to feed anyone in need funded by an anonymous Chicago tech CEO and online donations. Those in need can get a free meal – no questions asked – from 4pm to 6:30pm every day except Mondays at The Fifty/50 sports bar. This location is now putting out close to 500 meals each day of operation.

On March 31, The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group took over producing free meals and grocery essentials for all restaurant industry workers in need at West Town Bakery & Diner (1916 W Chicago Ave) in a partnership with The LEE Initiative, Chef Edward Lee, and Maker's Mark. Those restaurant service industry workers can get a free meal and groceries from 4pm to 6:30pm every day at West Town Bakery & Diner. This location is now putting out close to 300 meals every day.

About 6,000 of those 25,000+ meals for those in need have come from partnerships with about 15 other charities and organizations.

The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group has also partnered with other charitable organizations for meals for those in need over the last month including those with chef Lamar Moore and chef and humanitarian Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen feeding frontline hospital workers and community centers, Frontline Foods to feed additional frontline hospital workers, Off Their Plate to provide meals to Lawndale Christian Health Center and others, feeding the National Guard at McCormick Place, Ryan Chiaverini's #ERChallenge, A Safe Haven, Chicago Commons, Lakeview Pantry, Common Pantry’s “I Am Your Neighbor,” Chicago Care Package with Goose Island, police and fire department first responders, and more.
