The Gold Coast is getting a new resident in late Spring with the opening of The Bellevue, an option for food, cocktails and nightlife. Situated on the corner of Rush and Bellevue at 1031 N. Rush St., The Bellevue will offer a menu featuring classic American cuisine.

The design of The Bellevue, which translates to ‘a beautiful view’ in French. The two-floor space has been completely reimagined, creating a new aesthetic with added functionality. On the first floor, a bar area provides  room for socializing and lounging. The second floor now includes an additional bar, open kitchen and views of Rush Street, Mariano Park and the surrounding area from freshly installed nano doors. Plus, a 100-seat sidewalk café will be open in the warmer months.

To craft the interior, the team turned to Knauer Incorporated. Taking inspiration from classic Chicago and American establishments, the re-conceptualized space features a modern color palette accented with rleathers, brass and velvet, plus a range of artwork, including black and white photos and custom murals.

The Bellevue will serve contemporary American fare for lunch, dinner and late-night cocktails, and will be open seven days a week.
