The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild (ICBG) announces the Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beer (FoBAB), North America’s largest barrel-aged beer festival, competition, and ICBG fundraiser, returns to Chicago on November 13-14 at Credit Union 1 Arena (525 S. Racine Ave). The nationally recognized event, now in its 24th year, brings the top wood and barrel-aging brewmasters and craft beer’s biggest enthusiasts to the heart of Chicago. FoBAB 2026 will offer two tasting sessions, a national competition, and an opportunity to sample 250+ unique beers, ciders, meads, and perrys—many brewed exclusively for (and available only at) the festival.

Tickets are available at FoBAB.com. General admission and VIP Green Room Experience tickets to FoBAB are on sale on the FoBAB website. GA tickets are priced at $85 (plus fees), and VIP costs $250 (plus fees).
The FoBAB VIP Green Room Experience is a limited-availability ticket that includes private access to the Green Room, cans of crisp lager from the Lager Lounge, a private water station, a concession food stipend, an exclusive 2026 FoBAB Green Room glass, a FoBAB bag, and a FoBAB taster koozie, plus access to a private fire pit area outside.
