Thanksgiving Nightcap at Remedy

Remedy in Bucktown will open from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day offering guests a Miller High Life bottle and Evan Williams shot for only $8. Remedy also offers signature cocktails, perfect to enjoy next to their fireplace, like the That's My Jam (Leatherbee gin, creme de cassis, Jammy sweet vermouth, lemon juice, walnut bitters) and the Matcha Box 20 (TY KU soju, matcha tea, lemon juice).

Thanksgiving Specials at Roanoke

Roanoke Restaurant will open from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Guests can enjoy holiday dishes created by Executive Chef Greg Elliott including a Thanksgiving Plate for $19 with slow roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, cranberries, Brussels sprouts and herb gravy. For dessert, Roanoke will serve Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream for $7.

Roanoke's regular dinner menu will also be available. New seasonal dishes include Roasted Local Beets (mint, hazelnuts, pomegranate, goat cheese; $13), Squash Burrata (Delicata squash, prosciutto, arugula, aged balsamic; $17), Polenta and Mushrooms (poached egg, pecorino, garlic breadcrumbs; $15) and Beef Short Rib (miso-sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, ginger-chili glaze; $29).

Guests can pair their Thanksgiving dinner with new seasonal cocktails like the Madalle (mezcal, chartreuse, orange bitters, lemon express; $12), Cool Hand (Stoli Citron, Skinos, lemon, cucumber; $12), Lush 135 (apple cinnamon-infused Tito's, lemon bitters, brown sugar reduction; $12),  Lumber Exchange (Knob Creek Rye, spiced cranberry syrup, Amaro, fresh lemon; $14) and Madison Ginger (infused gin, chambord, Lillet, lime; $12).

The Owl's Post-Thanksgiving Party

The Owl will open late at 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for a special post-Thanksgiving party that goes until 4 a.m. For those who spent the day running around visiting family or those who want to celebrate with their city friends, The Owl has cocktails perfect for the season. Signature cocktails for $10 each include the Semi Charmed Life (Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose, KOVAL Rose Hip Liqueur, grapefruit juice, rhubarb bitters, 7UP), King Of Carrot Flowers (Cazadores Reposado Tequila, carrot juice, lemon juice, Dry Curacao, ginger beer, cayenne pepper), and the Cherub Rock (Control Pisco, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, Angostura bitters).

Thanksgiving Fire-Grilled Feast & Smoked Turkeys To Go at Weber Grill Restaurant

Weber Grill Restaurant in River North will open Thursday, November 22 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. to serve a three-course Thanksgiving fire-grilled feast created by Executive Chef Matt McCormick. For $29.95 per person and $10.95 for children 10 and under, guests will enjoy traditional Thanksgiving dishes with a Weber Grill twist including grill roasted smoked turkey with grilled sausage stuffing, grilled roasted butternut squash soup and Brussels sprouts, roasted garlic mashed or whipped sweet potatoes, grilled asparagus, classic pumpkin pie and more. A seasonal Spiced Cider Sangria will be available for $8.50 per glass or $33 for a pitcher.

For patrons hosting the holiday at home, Weber Grill can handle the cooking with their Thanksgiving Platters To-Go. Perfect for eight to ten guests, customers can choose from a variety of platters priced a la carte that feature sides like Weber's sausage stuffing ($27.95), cornbread with maple bourbon butter ($16.95), turkey gravy ($15.95), Harvest Salad with Gala apples ($34.95) and more. For the main course, Weber Grill's Smoked Turkeys To-Go are smoked for several hours on Weber Grills until tender, creating a flavor profile that is very unique to Weber and different than a typical roasted turkey. The restaurant offers a 16-pound whole smoked turkey ($60.95), carved smoked turkey including white and dark meat ($89.95), or a carved smoked turkey with white meat only ($109.95).

Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Dinner & Turkeys To Go at Tuscany in Wheeling

  • $34.95 prix fixe dinner; $17.95 children 10 & under; Adults eat for $29.95 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (order must be placed before 3 p.m.)
  • Turkeys to Go: Orders must be placed by Sunday, November 18 at 3 p.m.
    • $175 for 15-pound turkey and sides ($90 turkey only); $225 for 20-pound turkey and sides ($140 turkey only)
    • Pick up: Thursday, November 22 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

Tuscany in Wheeling will serve a seasonal Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner created by Executive Chef Bolla Loza on Thursday, November 22 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. For $34.95 per person, guests will feast on turkey, choice of mashed or sweet potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, stuffing, and a slice of pumpkin pie. Reservations are required.

Tuscany will also offer Turkeys To-Go. Guests can choose between a 15-pound turkey and sides (serves 10 to 13) for $175 ($90 turkey only) or a 20-pound turkey and sides (serves 17 to 20) for $225 ($140 turkey only). Both come with the traditional sides mentioned above and a complimentary pumpkin pie.
