Central Park Bar celebrates the Thanksgiving holiday with seasonal drinks from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. New cocktails include the Apple Bottom with 360 Red Delicious Vodka, Gypsy Apple Pie Vodka, Villon Spiced French Liqueur, Linie Aquavit, and lemon juice, and the Dakota with Rittenhouse Rye, Marie Brizard Jolie Cherry Liqueur, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao, Pernod, and agave nectar. For the fall and winter season, Central Park Bar’s outdoor bar has been enclosed and heated. Guests can play bumper pool, document the evening with a photobooth pic, or head just outside to the fire pit (weather permitting).

  • Sander BBQ Supply Co

The team is offering a full thanksgiving dinner that feeds 10-12 people plus a la carte options. The full dinner features a 20-25 lb smoked turkey, three half pan sides of your choice, a full pan of cornbread. There are also options to snag a la carte items like the turkey and sides plus a whole brisket, beef ribs and more. All orders must be placed by November 24 to be picked up on Wednesday, November 27 through Sander’s website.

For dinner, pre-order sustainably raised Slagel Farms-sourced turkey and ham, with add-ons like brine kits, turkey gravy, pork and duck rillette, and more. Thanksgiving side options include Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread and Sage Butter Stuffing, Classic Cranberry Sauce, and more. Chef Stephanie Izard's Peking Duck Dinner Kit comes complete with all the fixings, cooking instructions, and can be purchased on Tock: Duck Duck Goat Thanksgiving Duck Dinner. The $250 dinner for 4 people includes: Peking Duck, DDG Green Beans, Baked Char Siu Buns (4), Mashed Potato Spring Rolls (6), Veggie Fried Rice and Spiced Sweet Potatoes.

  • Fora

In celebration of Thanksgiving, Fora at The Emily Hotel will offer a three-course prix fixe menu priced at $59. The first course features a choice of Garden Salad with mixed greens, shaved radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, and brown butter vinaigrette, or a comforting Squash Soup made with roasted squash, toasted pepitas, and mole crema (both vegetarian and vegan options available). For the second course, guests can enjoy a Roasted Turkey Breast accompanied by herb gravy, sage brioche stuffing, citrus cranberry sauce, and creamy mashed potatoes. Finally, the third course presents a Sweet Potato Cheesecake, which is also available à la carte. Please note that there are no substitutions allowed. 

Gold Coast

  • Adorn Bar & Restaurant

This Thanksgiving, Executive Chef Franco Diaz at Adorn offers the Gobble and Gather feast. Seasonal options like Roasted Butternut Bisque, Slow Roasted Turkey with cranberry sauce, and Herb-Crusted Colorado Lamb Chops with mint jelly. The Risotto Action Station with sides like Brown Sugar Glazed Heirloom Carrots and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. For a lighter option, Chilled Seafood Bar features Alaskan King Crab, Oysters, and Poached Lobster Tail. End the meal with apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies from our pastry team.   • Eight Bar

Eight Bar is now taking reservations for Thanksgiving Day, and they will be offering their full menu. Instead of turkey they will offer their sushi, a seafood tower, steak & sides and desserts. 

Jefferson Park 

  • Delightful Pastries

Delightful Pastries will offer their Thanksgiving pies, quiches, breads, and soups. Pie flavors include Pecan, Bourbon Chocolate Pecan, Pumpkin, and Cranberry Fudge. Other goodies for the holiday include housemade Cranberry Pear Sauce, Pumpkin Roll, Cream of Butternut Squash Soup, Pecan Cranberry Sourdough and more. 

Additionally, on Saturday, November 23 from noon to 3 p.m., owner and head pastry chef Dobra Bielinski will offer a special savory pie-making class in time for Thanksgiving. Attendees will learn to make dough from scratch and create pie crust. The class will cover savory pies, from chicken pot pies to potato and crème fraiche pies, and even a caramelized onion and bacon tart. Each student will make three mini pies to bring home. The cost is $95 per person and can be booked on their website.

  • Little Goat Diner

Chef Stephanie Izard has these limited time options from Little Goat Diner, which can be purchased on Tock: Sugargoat Pies: Apple Gjetost Pie $40, Pecan Pie $48 and Chocolate Shake French Fry Pie $45. 

  • Cody's Public House

Cody’s Public House in West Lakeview will open on Thanksgiving Day for a Turkey Day Potluck and Football Viewing Party. Open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Cody’s invites guests to host their own Friendsgiving with a bring-your-own potluck style feast. At 7:20 p.m., football fans can catch the Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers game with sound on 16 65-inch TVs throughout the space including six outside. 

Alongside the potluck, Cody’s will offer festive drink specials, including $8 Hamm's & Turkey (Hamm's Tall Boy and a shot of Wild Turkey), $4 Hamm's Tall Boys, $6 Wild Turkey shots, $6 Proper 12 Apple, $6 Rumchata Pumpkin Spice Latte shots and a $10 Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned. Always dog-friendly inside and out, Cody’s offers a beer garden with TVs, darts, bean bags and a firepit, while indoors there is a pool table and Game Room with darts, Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee and a fireplace. 

  • The Graystone Tavern

Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will host a Thanksgiving Day Huddle, opening from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. to broadcast all the NFL games with sound on 9 TVs throughout the bar. There is also a winterized beer garden with TVs. Graystone Tavern offers a full bar and a menu of pub food like wings, blackened chicken tacos, hummus, a honey butter chicken sandwich, a smash burger and more. Tables are limited. Lincoln Square

  • The Getaway

Lincoln Square’s newest bar, The Getaway, celebrates Thanksgiving with a nightcap starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. New seasonal drinks available for $14 each include the Applerol Fitz with Aperol, apple pie liqueur, Le Verger, lemon juice, and orange bitters, the Pumpkin Pick Me Up with Tito’s, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, pumpkin spice syrup and black walnut bitters, and the Praline N' Dreams with Sazerac Rye Whiskey, Bitter Truth Pimento Dram, praline pecan liqueur, Zucca Rhubarb Amaro, and Bittermens Xocolatl mole bitters. Beer and shot combos will also be available all evening for $8. 

Logan Square

  • Daisies

An all-inclusive kit from Daisies. From Executive Chef Joe Frillman, the menu includes all the Turkey Day essentials: Sous Vide Turkey Breast, Confit Leg and Thigh, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Maple & Sage Sausage Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, Braised Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey Neck, Candied Sweet Potatoes.

The kit is all-inclusive, with each dish fully prepped and cooked by the Daisies team. All diners need to do is follow the reheat instructions, and the dishes will be done in one hour. The feast feeds four people for $240 and is available for purchase via Toast starting October 1st through November 20th. Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 27th, when their grab-and-go section will be stocked with all the Daisies classics, including pasta, sauces, and onion dip.

Partner and Pastry Chef Leigh Omilinksy’s homemade Apple Crumble and Pumpkin pies, will also be available to purchase via Toast and for scheduled pick-up. 

  • The Owl

Guests looking for a late night Thanksgiving Day party can head to The Owl in Logan Square starting at 10 p.m. House cocktails will be on special for $10 (normally $14) until 4 a.m. including Eyes Without A Face with Hennessy, Cazadores Reposado, Montenegro Amaro and honey syrup, the Moonstruck with Old Overholt Rye, Aperol, Meletti Amaro, pineapple, lime juice and simple syrup and more.

River North

  • The Smith

A special three-course prix fixe menu featuring a choice of turkey prepared three ways — roasted breast, braised leg, or turkey pot pie — as well as options for non-turkey diners, including butternut squash Milanese, roasted salmon, and red wine-braised short rib. Priced at $82 per person, the menu includes dishes like butternut squash soup, ricotta gnocchi, and tuna tartare.

Desserts feature devil's layer cake, sticky apple toffee pudding, and pumpkin cheesecake. Additional fixings for the table include apple brioche stuffing, crispy Brussels sprouts, and cranberry orange jam. Reservations can be made on their website.

  • Travelle at The Langham, Chicago

On Thursday, November 28, Travelle is offering two Thanksgiving Day dining experiences. 

A Thanksgiving Champagne Brunch Buffet, with autumnal flavors of the season through locally sourced charcuterie and cheeses, seafood platters, a carving station, sparkling champagne and desserts. The brunch is available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and reservations can be made on Tock ($265 per adult, $85 per child). 

In the evening, the Thanksgiving Cocktails and Dinner Buffet will be a family style menu, curated by Executive Chef Damion Henry, features twists on traditional holiday fare, artisanal plates, desserts and craft cocktails. The dinner event is available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and reservations can be made on Tock ($265 per adult, $85 per child). 

  • Smith & Wollensky

Smith & Wollensky is opening their doors to host a three-course Turkey Dinner this Thanksgiving. At just $78 per person, S&W is set to offer a blend of traditional flavors with steakhouse quality. For those who prefer variety, the full dinner menu will also be available from 12 pm to 9 pm. Make your reservations on their website. 

The Loop

  • Kindling

Kindling is offering a Thanksgiving and Holiday catering pickup. With orders for parties of 5-10 people as well as serving groups of 12-20 people, the menu consists of a selection of holiday and Kindling menu options like Crispy Brussels Sprouts, World Famous Confit Chicken Wings, Brine + Herb Marinated Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Mac N Cheese Gratin, Beef Fat Glazed Hasselback Potato, Butternut Squash, all finished with the restaurant’s S’Mores Cake Bar. 

Pickup ordering begins November 1, and all orders must be placed at least 72 hours in advance of pick up. The final date to order is Saturday, November 18 with the final pick up date of Tuesday, November 21. Price: Small Group (5-10 people): $65 per person, Large Group (12-20 people): $95 per person. Order on their website. 

  • The Dearborn

The Dearborn will have a sweet treat menu selection available for preorder and pickup for Thanksgiving. Beginning November 1, Chef Aaron and his pastry team have handcrafted family-style pies and cakes for celebrating this season – including a Chocolate Cheesecake with an espresso chocolate mousse, white chocolate coating, almond cookie crumb crust and amarena cherry, and a Butterscotch Pecan Pie with a brown butterscotch drizzle and whipped ganache. These sweet treats are available in 9 inches and can serve 6-8 people for $40 each.

  • Staytion Market & Bar at Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel

Thanksgiving specials such as Butternut Squash Bisque (chipotle crema, toasted pumpkin seeds), Roast Turkey (lemon herb smashed fingerling potatoes, housemade stuffing, green beans, gravy) and Apple Pie Empanadas (warm salted caramel, vanilla ice cream) while sipping on the Harvest Pear cocktail (Old Forester Bourbon, Amaro Lucano, St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur).

  • Cindy's Rooftop

Cindy’s Rooftop is bringing back their Annual “Pie in the Sky” Thanksgiving Pie Sale. This year’s menu showcases crafted pies from Pastry Chef Yammi Mercado that are ready for pre-order.

Pie options include Pumpkin Cheesecake (GF, NF, V): A spiced pumpkin filling on a gluten-free graham cracker crust, topped with white chocolate cream; Sweet Potato Pie (NF, V): with a toasted marshmallow fluff topping; Dutch Apple Pie (NF, V): finished with an oat streusel; Bourbon Pecan Pie (V): Enhanced with a silky Gianduja ganache. 

Sale Dates for Online Orders are Monday, November 18th through Saturday, November 23rd. Pickup is on Tuesday, November 26th, and Wednesday, November 27th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cindy’s Rooftop. Each pie is $28.

Remedy will open late on Thanksgiving at 10 p.m. offering up seasonal nightcaps. The late-night bar will serve their menu of local brews, craft cocktails and more until 4 a.m. along with fall cocktails like the In-cider Trading with Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom Vodka, apple cider, lemon juice, and ginger beer, and the Cellar Door with Highwest Bourbon, Ruffino Prosseco, demerara, and lemon zest.

  • Manchamanteles

Ordering a pre-made mole turkey from Chef Geno Bahena. Available for purchase through Tock or over the phone. Served pre-carved with seasoned green beans and mashed potatoes.

  • Cafe Robey

Specialty breads made from locally sourced ingredients from Publican Quality Bread. Offerings include Oat Dinner Rolls, Cornbread, and a Pumpkin Cheesecake with Oat Crust that serves 8-10 people plus, full Hearth Loaves. Ordering and pick up is available at both locations in West Town and Oak Park from November 25th - 28th. Order on Tock for both locations.

  • Rosebud Restaurants

Create your own Thanksgiving To-Go package, available for pickup on Thursday, November 28, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Order from your preferred location: Deerfield, Lemont, Rosemont, Rush. 

  • Farm Bar

Farm Bar, in both Lakeview and Ravenswood, are offering a Thanksgiving to-go box with mains, sides and dessert. Two package options are available – smaller size for 2-4 people and large size for 6-8 people. The menu is handcrafted and includes an Herb Roasted Turkey, Farm Bar Thanksgiving Stuffing, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Carrots and Brussels Sprouts, Farm Green Salad with a Brown Dog Farm Honey Vinaigrette, Roasted Turkey Gravy, Buttermilk Biscuits and a Pumpkin Pie. Additional a la carte dishes are available for purchase as well. All dishes will need to be preheated and ready to eat on Thanksgiving Day. 

Pickup is available at both Farm Bar Lakeview and Farm Bar Ravenswood. Package A (2-4 people): $140, Package B (6-8 people): $280  Pickup Dates: Pickup is on November 27 between 12pm-6pm.

  • The Goddess and Grocer

The Goddess and Grocer offers a Thanksgiving catering menu. Meal options include Turkey for Two (serves 2) $85, Vegan Dinner for 2 ($85), Family Matters (serves six) $225, All In The Family (serves 12) $450, and a la carte food, wine, cocktail, and decorative offerings. The Goddess and Grocer features natural, range-free and antibiotic-free turkeys. Those wanting to set the dessert table with The Goddess and Grocer’s pies can choose from Pecan, Pumpkin, Traditional Apple, Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart, and more. The menu also offers options for those in need of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.

The Thanksgiving catering menu is available for shipment across the country (some restrictions apply) and can be ordered via Gold Belly or visit goddessandgrocer.com/thanksgiving. 

  • Levain Bakery

A tin of cookies or pumpkin loaf (which can be picked up at the West Loop or River North locations). Levain’s limited time only autumn options include: Fall Chocolate Chunk Cookie - With notes of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and molasses, this cookie features layers of Valrhona chocolate; and the Pumpkin Ginger Spice Cake.

  • Sweet Mandy B's

Sweet Mandy B’s will open for limited hours on Thanksgiving Day to offer holiday treats available for pre-order from Sunday, November 24 through Thursday, November 28 at both locations. 

Classic 9-inch pies that serve 6 to 8 people will be available with flavors including Apple Streusel with fresh apple pie filling, Pumpkin, Pecan, Chocolate Cream, Banana Cream, and Key Lime Pie. Thanksgiving-themed specials will include Pumpkin and Turkey Cut-out Cookies, Mashed Potato and Turkey Leg Decorated Cupcakes, and 6-inch Thanksgiving cakes decorated with a turkey (limited quantities in store; custom orders welcome). Placing orders early is recommended by calling Lincoln Park at (773) 244-1174 and Streeterville at (312) 255-1632.

Guests can also shop seasonal treats throughout the month of November like Sweet Mandy B’s Pumpkin Cupcakes, Pumpkin Pie, individual Pumpkin Cheesecakes, Pumpkin Whoopie Pie, Pumpkin Bread, and more. 

  • Q-BBQ

Q-BBQ will offfer a Thanksgiving Family Pack This complete dinner feeds 8-10 and includes: Whole Smoked Turkey or Whole Smoked Turkey Breast Served with Cranberry BBQ Sauce, Mashed Potatoes with Brisket Gravy, Cornbread Stuffing, Mac-Q-Roni with Cornbread Crumbles, Signature Brussels Sprouts, Western Salad and Homemade Pumpkin Pie.

Their à la carte catering options include: Whole Smoked Turkey served with Cranberry BBQ Sauce, Sliced Smoked Turkey Breast: Offered whole (unsliced) or by the pound (a la carte), Cornbread Stuffing: Available in Quarts, ½ Pan or Full Pan (a la carte) and Cranberry BBQ Sauce: Available in 16 oz (al a carte).

  • Hewn Bread

Hewn Bread is offering a special selection of Thanksgiving items this year. Options include holiday-exclusive treats like FEW Bourbon Pecan Pie, Apple Cranberry Pie with Crumble Topping, and Pumpkin Roll. Customers can also pre-order take & bake options such as Pie Shells, Brie en Croute, Gougeres, and Morning Buns to make with friends and family. In addition to these sweet offerings, Hewn Bread has an array of bread options, including Dinner Rolls (12-pack), Large (1200g) Country and Durum loaves, and regular (700g) loaves of Country, Blonde Country, Whole Wheat Seeded, Turkey Red, and Cranberry Walnut.

Pre-orders are available on Tock starting October 28th, for pick-up on Tuesday, November 26th, or Wednesday, November 27th, at any of their three locations. For those who prefer to walk in, special Thanksgiving items available (not on the pre-order menu) include Anadama Bread, Miche, and Stuffing Mix.

Hannah’s Bretzel is bringing back the Thanksgiving 365 Sandwich! Made with Applegate Farms antibiotic- and hormone-free smoked turkey, soft ripened brie, romaine hearts, and housemade cranberry chutney on our freshly baked organic whole grain baguette.

Suburbs

  • Truluck's Rosemont

Truluck's is offering a special three-course Thanksgiving feast featuring a classic turkey dinner with sides and a selection of desserts. Priced at $59 for adults and $29 for children under 12. 

Start with a seasonal soup or salad before the main event: Herb Roasted Turkey Breast with all the trimmings, including mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry apple compote. A selection of family-style sides is available. Choose from Carrot Cake or Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert. Wild Turkey bourbon and house-made spiced orange syrup in the Hearthside Old-Fashioned, back for a limited time. Reservations are through OpenTable.

  • Sayulita Taco Mariscos and Tequila Bar

Sayulita Taco Mariscos and Tequila Bar will offer a special, family-style Friendsgiving Feast for patrons dining in, as well as to-go (with 48 hour notice). Available throughout the month of November and December and available to a minimum of six guests, options include the Sayulita Package ($28 per person), the San Pancho Package ($34 per person), and the San Julian Package ($40 per person). 

In addition to the ongoing holiday feast, Sayulita will offer a culinary journey through Yucatan, with a four-course Tequila & Mezcal Dinner featuring Maracame Tequila and Mezcal Nomada on Wednesday, November 27 from 5 to 9 p.m. 

Starting on November 1, festive cocktails will be in full swing. Options include Café de Olla Sayulita, a cinnamon-orange-brown sugar-infused Chiapas Mexico coffee, topped with chocolate whipped cream and an option of tequila or mezcal chaser ($8, $15 with chaser) and the White Christmas Margarita with 100% agave tequila, coconut puree, white chocolate Godiva, Sayulita Margarita mix, coconut shreds rim, pomegranate seeds, and rosemary sprig ($15).

  • Indus Progressive Indian

Indus Thankgiving catering menu brings together Indian flavors and Thanksgiving traditions. Full Menu Highlights include: Roasted Tandoori Chicken (an Indian-style twist on turkey!); Quinoa Pilaf & Rice Pilaf; Indian-Spiced Green Beans and Sweet Potatoes with Mint, Biryani (vegetarian, goat, lamb, or chicken) – a shared dish for Thanksgiving, like peeling back the layers of a spiced pie; Roasted Paneer (a vegetarian centerpiece); Kabobs (vegan, chicken, beef, or paneer) – marinated using traditional Indian techniques; Desserts like Rice Pudding Tart with pomegranate pearls, Mango Pie, Flourless Chocolate Cake with Indian spices, Crème Brûlée and more! Indus catering will do meals for 2, 4, 6 and 8 and provide all heating instructions.
