The chefs behind Temporis announce three pop-up dinners showcasing the highly anticipated Contemporary American cuisine the public discovers this September. The adventurous, tasting menu-only restaurant from Co-Chefs Sam Plotnick and Evan Fullerton opens this fall in Chicago’s West Town and now there’s an opportunity for a select number of food enthusiasts to have a sneak peek. The pop-ups invite an intimate group experiencing a balanced, thoughtful tasting menu from the talented chef duo at Local Foods on August 7, 14, and 28.

Each August pop-up dinner invites 11 diners for an exclusive experience where they’ll be wowed by two of the culinary world’s fresh faces.  The ten-course tasting menus feature beautiful, original presentations letting the main ingredients shine through each dish.  Highlights include King Crab (fennel, parsnip, smoked trout roe), Hamachi (yuzu, hazelnut, cookie), Sunchoke (watercress, chamomile, endive), and Rhubarb (Grande Marnier, ginger).

Pop-up dinners begin at 6:00 p.m. and are priced at $75 per person, with an additional $15 service fee per person.  Dinners at Local Foods, located at 1427 W. Willow, Chicago, IL 60642, are BYOB.  Tickets will sell quickly and are available for purchase on Eventbrite.

Temporis opens this September at 933 N. Ashland Ave., aiming to treat each diner and each plate with extreme precision, providing a focused experience found nowhere else.  Plotnick, going from college dorm life to fine dining and Fullerton, who’s spent time in some of the nation’s finest kitchens, met working at Les Nomades and with the shared belief that contemporary cuisine is a blank slate, Temporis was born.
