Holiday The Loop

This Halloween, LondonHouse Chicago is hosting holiday themed events. During the hotel’s afternoon tea service on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, psychic reader Carolyn Miller of Chicago’s Astrology Boutique will host tea-leaf readings for guests – using her gift to help guests find direction and balance in their lives. Guests may participate in Carolyn’s readings while partaking in LondonHouse’s Halloween-themed afternoon tea service at Bridges lobby lounge, which includes treats such as Blood Red Velvet Cake, a Beef Tartar and Purple Potato “Tongue” and a Gruyere Gougère with an “eyeball” made from dwarf peaches and currant gel.

LondonHouse also hosts its second annual Nightmare on Wacker Drive. Guests are encouraged to don their best disguises for this frightful fete taking place on the hotel’s 21st and 22nd floors of LH. The ghosts and ghouls in attendance can expect an open bar until 11 p.m., DJ sets throughout the night, and contests for best costume – with first place winning an overnight stay at LondonHouse Chicago and tickets to the hotel’s New Year’s Eve bash.
