The first in NoMI’s “Taste of NoMI” dining series invites guests to experience an evening showcasing traditional Japanese cuisine contextualized within the restaurant perched seven floors above the city below in the Park Hyatt Chicago.
Guided by NoMI Executive Chef Terence Zubieta and Breakthru’s Sake Expert Tona Palomino, the reception and 6-course tasting menu will span the breadth of Japanese cuisine alongside curated wine and sake pairings. Guests will discover street-food options like fried Karaage Chicken and refined sushi dishes like the Aburi Beni Toro, rich salmon belly lightly charred by an open flame and finished with a whiskey barrel-aged soy sauce.
