Tanta Cocina Peruana and Akiro are bringing two culinary perspectives together on Saturday, April 4th, for a special collaborative dinner celebrating the connection between Peruvian and Japanese cuisine.

The evening commemorates 127 years since the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to Peru, a cultural exchange that would later give rise to Nikkei cuisine - one of the expressions of modern Peruvian gastronomy. For one night only, guests will enjoy a 12-bite tasting menu from both restaurants, featuring a selection of Akiro's most recognized creations and a series of dishes created exclusively for the occasion by Tanta.

The evening begins with a welcome cocktail and bite from Akiro before guests move on to the full tasting experience. The dinner takes place Saturday, April 4th at Tanta Cocina Peruana (118 West Grand) beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $105 per person.
