River North’s Tanta (118 W. Grand Ave) has just launched a new dinner menu adding several new Peruvian spins.

Tanta’s new dinner menu now features an assortment of Peruvian bites including a selection of tiradito, cebiche, nigiri, and skewer options. With a variety of main course items ranging from sea to land, such as Mediterranean sea bass, Peruvian-style rotisserie Amish chicken, short ribs, and lamb chops, the new menu also includes salad and vegetarian selections.

New to Tanta’s brunch/lunch menu are Peruvian-style handhelds, including fried chicken, crispy pork, and wok stir-fried beef tenderloin sandwiches. Guests can also choose Peruvian-style avocado toast and steak & eggs, or get their veggie fix with vegetarian options ranging from Peruvian corn cake to a vegetarian saltado.

Adding to the brunch experience is Tanta’s bottomless mimosa package. For $38/person (90 minutes), guests can pair their Peruvian meal with sparkling wine and a selection of orange juice or chicha morada.

Tanta has officially launched their new happy hour menu. Offered Monday through Friday from 4-6pm (first floor bar seating only), guests can choose from a selection of discounted Peruvian options, such as fried yucca balls ($8), corn empanadas ($7), chicken skewers ($7), cebiche ($16), and more! Drink deals include $10 select cocktails, $10 select wines by the glass, and $6 select beer.
