Tanta on Thursday, September 14 will kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month, and also commemorate Tanta’s tenth anniversary here in Chicago. Tanta will be hosting a one-day celebration that embodies the tapestry of South American tradition and camaraderie through a special seven-course pre-fixe menu curated by chefs nationwide, followed by a Peruvian rooftop celebration.
Tanta’s Ten Year Anniversary Rooftop Celebration ($75/person)
On Thursday, September 14, Tanta will transform their rooftop into a “Peruvian marketplace” featuring food stations serving dishes from Tanta, Chicago’s Jinsei Motto and Jaleo. The full rooftop bar will be open for service so guests can sip on pisco sours and chilcanos with live music from a local Latin American band.

Ten Years of Tanta Tasting Menu Experience ($140/person)
On Thursday, September 14, Tanta’s executive chef, alongside other leading Peruvian chefs nationwide, will prepare a seven-course tasting menu experience in celebration of Tanta’s ten years in Chicago.
This is the first time since opening their doors in 2013 that Tanta has hosted such a collaboration. Guests will embark on a culinary journey through Peru prepared by the executive chefs from Tanta, New Jersey's Jarana, New York’s Mission Ceviche, and San Francisco’s La Mar. The seven-course meal will feature renditions of causa nikkei, tiradito, halibut, and more.
