Tanta will share the traditions and flavors of Peru with its new concept, Warike. Derived from a Quechua word passed down from Peruvian ancestors, a ‘warique’ is a neighborhood’s hidden gem. At Tanta, guests can take part in this new culinary adventure that will take their palates through a journey, both learning and experiencing the Peruvian culture through a 7-course meal.
Each guest will be greeted with a personalized dining menu and welcome drink. The 7-course meal planned & prepared by Tanta’s Executive Chef Roberto will then begin, where each guest will explore the story & inspiration behind each dish with their server.
Warike will officially launch on Wednesday, November 23rd and will be offered on Friday, November 25th and Saturday, November 26th for that week only. Beginning on Thursday, December 1st, the experience will be available Thursdays through Saturdays until January 28th.
There will be two slots available per night Warike is offered. The first seating will be at 5:30 PM and the second seating will be at 7:45 PM. With two seatings per night each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (5:30 PM & 7:45 PM), the maximum capacity of participants will be 6 guests per round. Tanta’s Warike will last approximately 2 hours.
Reservations are necessary for Warike. Guests can pre-book their spot for this dining experience at Tanta’s cebiche bar counter, in addition to calling Tanta at (312) 222-9700.
