Tanaka Ramen, Now Open in Lincoln Park

Tanaka Ramen (553 W Diversey Parkway) announced their recent opening in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The restaurant concept, originally born in Honolulu, Hawaii and now under new ownership in Chicago, offers Japanese cuisine, Tea Ninja bubble teas, and the brand new addition of beer, wine and sake.

Proprietor Jennifer Jiang, who also owns Tea Ninja, has renovated the restaurant space with custom-created murals and Japanese calligraphy. Tanaka's menu includes izakaya, ramen, rice bowls, Tokyo curry bowls and dessert. She's showcasing a list of Tea Ninja selections from her bubble tea shops in Lakeview, Rosemont and Aurora.

Tanaka has recently added a boozy beverage program, featuring Japanese beer, dry and sweet sake selections, and wine by the glass and bottle. Non-alcoholic offerings, in addition to the bubble teas, include Ramune Japanese soda, wasabi ginger ale, Royal milk tea, Calpico original and CBD teas.
