Tabú from Atomic Hospitality will offer brunch every Saturday and Sunday at the restaurant beginning October 15 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Executive Chef Saúl Román’s brunch builds on Tabú’s menu which consists of dishes like the Acai Overnight Oats with caramelized bananas, dulce de leche, fresh berries, almond granola, honey with acai yogurt. Also find “Concha” French Toast with pulque agave syrup alongside fresh berries, whipped cream, and an almond crumb. Román’s Crumpets are topped with sweet plantain, fresh fruit, toasted meringue, and dulce de leche pastry cream.
Chef Román’s menu offers savory dishes such as Chilaquiles with spicy pineapple salsa, “Battuta'' Steak & Eggs with Korean rajas and Manzano relish, Pork Belly Breakfast Tacos with Morita glazed pork belly, or the epic Chicken & Churros, Tabu’s take on brunch option “Chicken and Waffles” with crispy fried chicken, morita honey, apple - red cabbage slaw. Additionally, diners can select the Breakfast Tlayuda with applewood smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, pickled red jalapeno, braised onion, escabeche, cotija cheese, tomato ragu, and fried quail eggs.
The cocktail menu is courtesy of Beverage Manager Javier Arroyo’s take on bloody marys, micheladas, signature cocktails, as well as a variety of fresh mimosas.
To celebrate the first day of brunch, Tabú is teaming up with Strength and the City for their “Beats n’ Brunch” event atop Tabú’s Rooftop at 10am on October 15. Yoga will be led by Robin Samples of BareFeet Power Yoga, followed by brunch at Tabú at 11am. Attendees will need to pay an extra fee for brunch, but will get one complimentary brunch Komos Tequila cocktail after yoga.
