sweetgreen will open its latest Chicago-area restaurant in Oak Park on Thursday, July 7th.

The 2,907 sq ft location (1143 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL 60301) will accommodate 21 diners inside and 20 diners outside on their seasonal patio. In the interior dining room, guests will find custom millwork, glass, and tile designs inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright – a former resident of Oak Park – as well as artwork commissioned by painter and sculptor Colt Seager, to reflect the changing of the seasons.

Alongside staple menu items, the Oak Park location will open with sweetgreen’s early summer menu offerings: the Peach + Goat Cheese salad, Summer Teriyaki Bowl made with local roasted okra and sweet onions, and Pesto Summer Veggies side dish. There will also be a dedicated pick-up area for diners on-the-go.

For each meal sold on opening day, sweetgreen will donate a meal to its local impact partner, Care For Real, to nourish food insecure communities across Rogers Park.
